Whats with the braking of iracing the cars either brake to hard and if you shift down it acts all funny :s

Accurate brake pressure

You can't put the pedal to the floor in the real car and not lock brake. This is where Jamie's CST pedals are an advantage.

I got 1 months free subscription for Iracing but all i did so far was some tests in a Solstice.
That car is not funny to drive.
It either doesn't brake at all or it locks.
Also the shifting of that car is funny.

Braking takes some getting used to as it different to other sims. You cant just flatten the brake, if you do you have hit 100% brake pressure and as Simon said your gonna lock up.

As for the shifting you have to shift at the correct times and try and match the revs with a blip of the throttle. Shifting down too early with the engine revs to high will cause the rear wheels to lose traction and probably send you into spin if you do it while turning.

Try the spec racer its a better car than the slowstice and I think you should have it as its a free car.

I have my rating at 2.90 atm.

I'm pretty sure you can, every iRacer should be able to drive the SRF because it's a free car

Get your Safety rating above 3.00 and you can then leave the solstice behind forever.

The SRF is much more fun to drive. Make the rookie season much more bearable imo.

New Build for the start of the new season. Minor bug fixes uncovered over week 13 I think!

New advanced setups for Lowes and Atlanta for the Impala Class B car.

Fuel mileage adjusted on Impala, Impala Class B and Silverado cars.

Fuel filling bugs fixed on Silverado, DP and Impala Class B cars.

Increased range of adjustment of spring perch, camber and caster, and adjusted tire wear for the Spec Racer.

If I cancel the 1 month free offer and re-register again but with the new Promo code, will it work?

Just go to your current account page and you can extend your subscription, Enter your code there and you will have the 3 months added to your account!

I'm guessing that the 3 months for $25 only works when you account has expired, because it just gave me an invalid code message when I tried "PR-INDY".
