i just did about 10 first laps. 59,3 and i think i found a setup i like.
(did couple laps with Greger huttu setup, since i dont have reflexes of a fly, i didnt quite like it, but this seems stable and possibly very fast)

Me loving it to......think i will drop all other sims for this one even if im just still at rookie level. The behaving of the car feels natural for me, but what do i now who has never driven a solstice in rl, but only the feeling going down the corkscrew at laguna makes it worth the money, its almost thickeling in my stomache......bahh hate strange english words,,,,dont laugh

Well, after a initial trial period of one month I've made up my mind about iRacing. I've just signed up for a full year subscription, and at the same time I got all of the Road Courses and the Radical ( I now have the Solstice, Legends, Skip Barber, F Mazda and the Radical).

The physics of this sim is totally and radically different from anything else I've tried in the past. Switching between iRacing and Race07 really shows how much work that has gone into the iRacing. Granted, the sim is still lacking a bit in the content department but I'm sure they will add some great things in the near future. Things can only get better from here on!

My dilemma now is whether or not to drop Race07 / GTR EVO or continue to use them "on the weekends". I've noticed that my driving capabilities in Race07 drops at the same rate as my abilities progress in iRacing... funny thing...

Kind regards,
Karl

BTW, The Radical is by far the most thrilling and rewarding car out of the iRacing stable. Can't wait until I can join a Radical Series... :)

Yes got to argree fantastic sim..Shame u cant open a server to race with friends tho.Going to sign up for the year as well..Will still race on evo and rfactor ..arca think there all very good ...Just got to find the time and be nice to the mr's ...:thumb:

God Damn Skippy & LRP. This has to be the worlds worst combination. I don't mind LRP in the Solstice, but after 15 laps in the skippy the rear will not follow the front anymore and I spin at every turn.

8 Incident Points in my last race due to spins, I gave up after that.

I havent raced at LRP yet just been practicing to get lap times down to under 1min. But what i need is practice with passing and racing close to others.

Anyone fancy practicing? if we get 3 or 4 it could be a good way to get race practice without the SR hit.

@Simon try Gregers setup with the rear arb set to 6 rather than 8, its what im using and can run pretty consistent mid 59 second laps in practice
