No chance ill try it, first problem is in no way can i afford to pay that much for a sim and second, from the video's and screenshots ive seen, it doesn't seem as good as everyone said it should be.

I was the lucky one beeing invited on the first rollout of the thousands of invites. iRacing is only good for occasional race events, you know if you don´t have that time and mood to go for a league and keep practising etc. Therefore iRacing is a good platform to race against equal human drivers because of its Rating System but I also just given up after the first month because of the costs of the game in general and because of every extra money you have to pay for additional stuff.

Additional content costs money and that keeps my away from iRacing!

I just got my invite, I've paid and signed up! :D

Downloading now, I'll let you know how I get on. I race a number of cars in real life so hopefully I can give you guys a good idea of what this supposed 'sim' is really like - fingers crossed.

How do you improve the view? I can see LOADS of dash but little track, I've dropped the FOV to 70' so the dash looks right i.e. can't see the pedals and lower dash but now the vision out the front screen is rather acute and actual gives me a headache?

It seems odd compared to anything I've raced on the PC before, I'm sure (hope) I can fix it with correct settings?
