The thing with the spec is that you really have to focus on it and can't drive it in between other cars because it has sooo little grip on its rear tires that you needadjust your driving style exactly to that car.
Kevin,
I really dont think like that. I drove the spec and the skip together and had tons of fun and got really competitive with the skip. But this was a few months ago... I dont drive them for a while...

it's all down to your personal driving style whether you have to adjust your driving style to drive the spec or not.
Exactly!
For example, for what I'm noticing, I'm not being able to drive the Corvette and the Indy in the same season and be at least mid grid. :) But I'm being able so far to drive the corvette and the mazda... Too many great drivers driving the Indy maybe...

Hello Dudes

I like the Spec racer on Lowes Road Course and Summit point.
But all the tracks are fun with this car so it does not matter wich track for me :fwd:.

For the moment i'm racing the Lotus series and i often race on Wednesdays and Fridays.

Mid-Ohio: Now in Development

The official name says it all: Mid-Ohio Sport Car Course. One of America’s favorite race tracks snakes, twists and turns up hill and down dale through the lush countryside of central Ohio. It’s not part of a glitzy multi-purpose motorsports complex; there’s never been an oval or a drag strip here . . . and never will be. Mid-Ohio is 2.25 miles of pure, unadulterated sports car heaven (2.4 miles with the Keyhole chicane). No wonder the SCCA made it home to the National Runoffs from 1994 to 2005. And no wonder Mid-Ohio has been a fixture on every major American road racing series calendar for nearly forty years. Beginning in the summer of 2010, it can be a part of your iRacing calendar as well.

I'm expecting Brands Hatch soon to be honest, especially as this is now in development and not long ago they said they started working on just 1 track at a time... which I guess must mean Brands is in the testing phase.

Ford V8 is expected in the next build.

It will be great. I watched some races at Brands Hatch (BTCC) on the tele last week and one thing I noticed was that a lot of cars were going wide onto the grass at high speed and then driving back onto the track to continue racing.

I suspect we won't be able to manage this in iRacing as I always find that the grass is like green ice and I completely lose it if I even look like putting a single wheel onto it. :crying:

Cheers,

Grant :)

I voted for Thursday and Laguna. Would also love to race some of the higher classes but realise that this is very difficult and expensive. Might there be a possibillity for a side poll, just to see which people have which cars and tracks?

edit: never mind. Just found the what do you own topic
