Hi dee ho my fellow speed deamons.

Most of the people know me here or at least most of my work, but if not here goes.

My handle is J3st3r , But my real name is Jarrod Crossley, I live in sunny Blackpool UK and I am 37 happily married with two kids (Boy, Girl). I have been Photoshoping for quite some time, but as for Sim racing Im quite new. I have taken part in one RSC FD Series and quite enjoyed it but with the kind of work I do, It some times gets in the way of my fun.

I help run a net club here in Blackpool and tried to get the lads involved but only a few toke to the bug of racing, myself I seem hooked. At the moe I'm play Race 07 and quite like the WTCC 07/ 06 era, Trully in love with the Seat. I am waiting my copy of ARCA and hope the ovals will be kind.

I have played racing games in the past the old Colin McRea's and TOCA's but they seem pale in comparision to Race.

Oh before I forget you'll have to bare with me on the spelling front I've been dislexic all my life and as they say you can't teach an old dog new tricks.

Work wise if your wondering I work for a company that works within the M.O.D (Ministry Of Defence) We teach all aspects of computing and we also develop speciality software for the M.O.D, If by any chance any of your are in the Military and used a UAV you know our company.

Well I hope to see you on the track if not I hope to see you make use of some of my skins.

My name is David Guéhénnec, I have 30 years, I live in france.

I work with my brother, we buy houses, and they are renovating "modernize", then we sell new homes. It is a good job, no boss on my back:).
It is two years since I discovered race online. And I love
My description is short, because it is a difficult exercise for me.

Ps: we could have a description of the moderators ??? lol "Bram, Attila, etc. ....." :)

Hi,

My name is Chris Vick. I am quite new to online racing having participated in one event so far (Monza a couple of weeks back). I hope to have my second online race this week in the Donnington event here. I have been doing simracing since last August or so, starting with GTR2, and recently also working on Race 07. I also have a copy of rFactor, but I have not really used it yet. I am also a member of RSC and GTR2rank as "cavick".

I live in San Jose, CA, USA. I am happily married, with one daughter, and I work as a researcher for a large computer company in the areas of computer architecture, operating systems, virtual machines and optimizing compilers. I am really looking forward to racing with all of you!

Chris

Hi,

I'm Cam and I have finally decided to attempt the whole online racing deal. I have been driving sims for a few years but have only recently committed to making it as realistic as I can. I would consider my skills to still be in the 'backmarker' stage as I am focussing on racing clean at the moment.

In the non sim world, I am living in Queensland, Australia with my wife and 3 year old son. I am teaching by day and trying to quickly learn how to enter myself into the world of sim racing by night.

Cheers!

  • Alex Guehennec

Hey,

Alex Guéhénnec, 26 years old Bretagne France
As my brother Baron-Rouge said, we work together on buy house, restore then sell them
Impossible for me to wake up same hours during all my life for a big boss..
Love F1 sims, and also F3000 too ( NEVER wtcc for me lol, it's very not my drug !)
Happy to be here with you all, and happy to have NO-B forum hosted by Rpm

Waiting on 2008 F1 season, but I miss Michael . The good point for the show is that electronicals helps will be deleted. A grandma could drive F1 from last seasons lol

See you on track ; )

Heyheyheeey

I'm Robert, 18 years old, from Germany. I still go to school, but at least now I'm old enough to drive a car myself: The beautiful Fiat Cinquecento :D

Since I was a very small child, I follow all kinds of touring car racing. Sadly, starting an own racing career won't work out. Too slow, too old, too poor... Next to racing, I play guitar in a band called "Sysm".

My favourite racingsims (+ the only ones I own) are Race07 and GTR2. That's it mainly for games, because I really suck in all other games.

I drive for the Roaring Pipes Maniacs since 2007, make their car skins and manage the team challenges. If you ever want to set up a team challenge against us, contact me :)

My biggest simracing successes are the 2nd place in the RPM WTCC league, 3rd place in the RSC MiniCooper league and the overall championship in the SimJunkie team challenge.

Oh, and from now on you will also see me on the other side: I'll be helping with Racing Club events, plus I will be managing a new GTR2 league here that will come up soon.

Happy racing! ;)

  • Roy Stevens

Hello all

I live with my girlfriend Michelle and our daughter Libby aged 2 . Job wise I worked in the asbestos removal industry since leaving school. I left couple of years ago due to having our daughter. I now look after Libby while the other half works.....Other hobbies are football (Arsenal fan) and pc's ..and after looking at people's cockpits on rpm forums. I might try building one..look forward to more fantastic racing with u all .

Just like to say thank's to all the people that are involved in running the racing club. u all do a fantastic job :)

heeeey, of course i cant resist to introduce myself here too. :)

So, here we go. My name is Attila Domján (wht a surprise... lol). I am 30 years old, theoretically living in Hungary, Győr, but practically i live in the Ukraine in Mukachevo for the past 2.5 years, since i am working here as Production and Factory Engineering manager for a multi company, producing CD players for the cars.

I am single, no wife, but of course i enjoy company of women from time to time... :)

About sim racing: i started with off-line racing for years, mainly with the Colin Mcrae series, then lot of F1 2002 still offline, then on-line experience for me starte with Toca Race driver 2. Ok ok ok, it is by far not a sim, but the races were very enjoyable, the chats, community, racing with real people, so it hooked me up.

Later started to be more interested about it, and started with some more serious sims, like RBR, GTR1-2, Race, lately Race 07, and one day i met Bram on-line, since then i am here. I also would like to say thanks to Weedz, who took me into this on-line racing world at the beginning with the team StigS.

Oh, and one more thing, i love all the friends i have since day 1 i clicked on Multiplayer on-line button. :) :) :)

Hello,

My name is Simon. I'm from Kent, UK. I've played racing games mostly on the playstation (1 & 2) up until the beginning of this year when I bought a load of PC parts and built my own gaming pc and bought a DFP (Couldn't afford the G25, spent the extra on the 8800GT).

I'm 18, and I travel 30 miles to Canterbury to go to University studying Web Design & Programming. End of the month I start work for the local council again over the summer running the pitch & putt course they have (easy job, lots of money for me).

Looking forward to Donington on Sat :)

My name is Eck Simpson, I'm 38, married and living in Fife, Scotland.
I'm a toolmaker by trade but a lazy fecher in practice... lol.
Picking up on a point made by Attila, I am married and hope to get the company of a women at some point this year... lol.

Again like Attila, I raced many games offline for many years.
PC gaming started with Andretti Racing and Nascar Revolution, getting involved in the EA Sports forums, I was directed toward the Papyrus games, firstly with Nascar Racing 2. Even back then, there was a world of difference between those two companies work. Buying GPL and all the Nascar titles thereafter.
I never really looked at another EA title until, I found GTR 2002 in the RSC forums. I'm not a fan of modern era F1, so had it not been for Mods and the great community I was introduced to, I probably wouldn't be here.
My first forays into online racing, came via Nascar Racing 2003, Formula 1 2002 and their respective mods. Mostly, I joined test sessions, never feeling confident enough in my own ability to race side by side (nor nose to tail for that matter...lol).
Thankfully I got over that anxiety, my first race ended in a win, which helped. Its not happened a whole lot since... lol.
Like I said earlier, I bought GPL but despite having a real enthusiasm for the game, and the era, never had the skill. So I've never raced GPL in any real form, I've dabbled but never really done anything worth talking about.
Since Simbin went commercial, I've bought most of their products, I still don't have Race 07 (even though its among the cheapies here), cause I don't have the 'puter to do it justice, the old girl is struggling with GTR2... lol.

I've been on the periphery of real world motorsport since I was 3 years of age, but have never partaken. This started (thanks to my parents, who are great motorsport fans), spectating at the local oval track (Cowdenbeath). It ended while serving my apprenticeship, and working at Knockhill at weekends and while taking holidays from my day job.
Today, I'm only party to those events covered on TV, I've never been to a racing event in quite a few years... unfortunately...

Im James Yates, im 17 and i live in Rushden in England.

I got into racing games with my PS1 when i was probably about 7 or 8 years old, with the original ToCA Touring Cars game. I then moved onto getting the next ToCA games, Colin McRae Rally games and of course, Gran Turismo. This was all on my PS1, didn't even have a computer back then :p

Then i got a PS2, bought Gran Turismo 3, ToCA Race Driver and a few other racing games, so i wasn't quite into sim games yet, but i had been racing for ages... Christmas 2005 i got my Logitech DFP and raced on GT4 with that, which was probably the closest i ever got to playing a sim, first time i had used a decent wheel with FFB aswell.

Got my PC in March 2006, and i have raced since with a wheel, moving onto a G25 for 2007 :) First racing game i played online was GTLegends, and i wasn't that great at it, but it was good fun :p Got GTR2 and GTR and a few other racing games since, which i have played quite a lot, done a little bit of modding for GTR2 - such as making cars like the 350Z quick enough to run in the GT class... and moving other cars around class wise. Made a few paintjobs, but i really started with this on Race07 for the league. A month or 2 ago i made a headtracking system using the freetrack site as my guide, also used their program, and now i use it in all my racing games, as it brings such as new dimension to the gameplay, its great to be able to look exactly where you want to.

Always been interested in cars and motorsports, and seen as i don't have the money to be a proper racing driver, this is probably as close as i will get :p

I also play FPS games quite a lot, such as Call of Duty 4 and Battlefield 2142. Nice to break them up with some good races though

Would love to go to the ring at some point, but obviously with a decent car... i love that track!

Currently at college, but i would like to either go to uni and get into motorsports that way, or find another route in, as that is where i would like to be.

Many of you on here should know me from RSC, so i look forward to having some good races :)
