Yes, can confirm that.
Tried a race at Laguna Seca with AI set to 103% and medium aggression and they piled up at the Corkscrew. On the other hand official Reiza cars also tend to sometimes pile up (Bathurst 1983 after Forrest's Elbow).
It's because the Indy car don't start with standing start and don't have an antistall so it's kinda realistic (considering also the few time the real one started with standing start)
This was not a standing start I always run them with a manual formation lap.

Can the Push to Pass be improved to be more realistic or is it a matter of what the game already has for its existing push to pass cars? I have a couple suggestions if it's possible to edit.

1. Reduce the cooldown from ~2 minutes between presses to something more reasonable like 30 seconds (I don't think there is any cooldown except maybe a quick recharge in real IndyCar). Currently, if a race is 40 minutes or less, you basically never run out of charges, it just comes down to when you use them on which parts of the track rather than when during each stint of the race.

2. I am personally ok with the 10 seconds of committed increase in power you can only use 20 times per race, but I believe realistically it is more like ERS/KERS that just doesn't recharge, so it ideally it would be a press and hold with a max of 20 seconds per lap or something and a maximum of 120/150s per race.

I'm not best placed to explain it, but the current p2p implementation is a compromise / the best solution we have for the moment based on the functionality available in game. The longer cool off time is partly intended to stop the AI using it all up really quickly. It's difficult to make something that works reasonably well for longer and shorter races, and with AI.

Hello
Great Mod. Could you tell me what programs you use to do this Model to install it in AMS 2, regards
Not sure I understand the question. See the readme files that come with the mod for install instructions. The only extra program you need is 'JSGME', which you can find here on RaceDepartment or elsewhere.

Hi guys, I came across the Indy Car Mod here yesterday and wanted to download and install it today. Now only the problem that my PC (Windwos Defender) thought that it is a Trojan and has thrown them down. Is this somehow known and can I install the mod without problems?
And sorry for my bad English.

Re: the trojan thing - we think this is a false positive - we have scanned it with multiple tools and all are clear, but obviously you need to use your own judgement when it comes to viruses/trojans. If anyone knows what might be causing these warnings, please let us know.

GUYS ALERT, I DOWNOADED THIS AND I GOT A WARNING FOR A ''Wacatac.H!ml'' TROJAN

IS THIS A FALSE POSITIVE OR IS THERE A MALICIOUS FILE ON THIS DOWNLOAD

I also experience the same trojan thing on my PC. Love the mod and I desperately want to fix this.

Can you pinpoint the file that is causing this?

I've run many scans on my end and nothing has come up... I've downloaded the file from RD just to see if it came through then and it hasn't...

It seems like a false positive, but I did just have a similar situation with the Sugo track mod... Maybe the 2 are related?

I was referring to what are the programs you use to make the cars in Automobilista 2, that is

I don't really know that cause this Problem. I don't want to risk anything, so I maybe wait for an update, in the hope it fix this.
