These cars are absolutely awesome. The only one thing I can fault is the AI race starts are extremely bad. Definitely something to fix for the next update. TBH thats the only problem I have with this mod. Thank you once again.
 
It's hard to find out what is the best opponent setting. If i set it too high, I get multiple Full Course Yellow situations and cars pile up in specific corners (like T1 at Watkins Glen). Any suggestions what the best AI settings are for competitive racing against AI?

I prefer Medium opponent aggression in almost all situations, but it's a subjective thing. High makes the entire field well above the Reiza's intended "realistic-ish average driver's value" for aggression (i.e. 0.5), and cuts the spread of values in half (0.8 spread to 0.4 spread). Max makes the entire field uniformly 1.0 aggression. The values in this AI file are mostly within the 0.3 to 0.6 range. See below from Reiza:
  • At Low "Opponent Aggression" setting, the 0.0-1.0 aggression value is mapped into a 0.0-0.8 range.
  • At Medium "Opponent Aggression" setting, the 0-1 aggression value is mapped into a 0.2-1.0 range.
  • At High "Opponent Aggression" setting, the 0-1 aggression value is mapped into a 0.6-1.0 range.
  • At Max "Opponent Aggression" setting, all drivers have 1.0 aggression.
Also - it may not necessarily be the Aggression causing/influencing pile-ups. Things like avoidance of mistakes also factor in. That'll probably be tweaked slightly in the next version.
 
I had issues installing this. I decided to contact KAOS for help as I wondered why I couldn't get all the teams up and running. They spent about almost two hours with me on discord and determined the way I edited my text files was an issue. Something to do with spacing. So "ChickenFried" forwarded my his "Text" file vehicle.lst file and said try mine. And it worded perfect. Fun mod! That was cool. my TrackIRv5 works perfect as well. I'd be willing to pay them for this the way it's running in 4K on my end.

Rolling starts are pretty terrible in general in AMS2... It's hard to fix that from our end as it's one of those things that's track related not car related...
 
Stunning mod but through out the lap I get these jumps, thought it was gear changes but sometimes it throws the car completely off as if another car is hitting from behind.

Checked mirrors, not a car close enough to cause that.

This sounds like something hasn't installed correctly... I've never experienced this and I've run 1000s of laps at Elkhart Lake alone... Please try a reinstall/redownload to see if you can rectify the issue that way...

Yeah true. Im actually talking standing starts. By the time the ai start to get on the throttle im going through turn 1. I had thought about tweaking the start reaction time in the file.

Tweaking the AI file will make very little (if any) noticeable difference to standing starts with these cars. They are simply not intended to do standing starts.

Indycars do not make standing starts in real life, they last trialed them in 2014... The car in the sim and in real life is not designed for them...

my solution, for now, like I said I fake ( :):cautious:) a reeeeally bad start myself
but really hoping for some update
eventually :)

I have to do that in AMS2 by default against the AI... No matter the car the AI are pretty bad at starts (because they run the same as when the auto-clutch feature is on) and there's a set timer so once you figure out the timing you can get a perfect start every time... Doesn't matter if it's rolling or standing, the count down is the same...
 
I have an issue, as far, i was able to create my own team and teamate adding AI to them. But about skinning, i've started one and saved it over the original MyTeam texture. So when i'm getting into the showroom to see the result so far, the car is now completly red, not showing any sponsor i've put so far.

What did i wrong ? because the default was white, now its red without any sponsor.

Saved in dds BC1 and was the only files i've edit, the MyTeam.dds

This can happen for multiple reasons... Usually there's an issue with the skin file...

Number 1 for me is an accidental increase in the skins dimensions, usually by copying and pasting something onto the skin or moving the bottom layer accidentally...

The other main one I can think of right now is that the save wasn't completed fully...

Another one, but probably doesn't apply here is that there's transparency on the skins (for matte or metallic effects) and it's bugging out because the effects don't work on BC1... If there's transparency always save in DXT5 BC3 format...

If you can't find a fix for it I'm happy to have a look at it...

EDIT: Just remembered that this can also happen if you haven't entered the details in all of the rcf's for that team... This is most likely not the case this time but just in case others have an issue...

The car is amazing to drive in the sim, nice and flat, and the sim itself is looking and feeling very good. The Brazilian tracks themselves are a significant contribution to the community. Cool stuff. Felt as good as on Road America a fair bit as rfactor 2 on same track. Its got a real nice firm ride in AMS2 in a feeling sense. You know its not as detailed a suspension of tyre, I dont think it matters. I might be taken to number 1 by rfactor 2 I am just saying this is real good. Very glad. I thought this was a very valid and legitimate car/aura combo and track(s) its good for in the AMS2 sim.

Hope theres updates in the future for the car.

Nope, the problem wasnt of any of your solution,

Was just to disable the mod on JSGME and re enable it. Dunno why need to do that but problem solved ahah
 
hi im still not having all liverys show up only basecar is showing up ive tried installing mod first then boot file ive tride deleting mods and boot file then veryfying integrety of game file through steam then install mod and then boot file still same problem i also have latest version in steam
I too have issues. I only get three cars! All the other cars fail to be there. Mod is a bootleg and not validated and no matter how I try to validate in when I go to run it it all isn't there.
Anyone know what's a solution cause some people can have it all functioning but many cannot.
Only thing that makes sense to me is that it's a invalidated set of files and Steam says nates?
