The Indy Car MOD is great! The only thing is it isn't working right since update 1.4.8 If you have the MOD installed the new Barcelona track doesn't show up and the driving physics are off compared to if the MOD is turned off. Hope you all can patch it. Thank you for all your hard work.

If using JSGME, you are probably using old bootfiles: you need to keep bootfiles version in sync with the game.
If AMS2CM with generated bootfiles, you either didn't upgrade to 0.1.7 or forgot to disable mods before upgrading the game: uninstall mods (see docs), validate game files, reinstall mods.

Hi Paoloambrosio,
Thank you for replying.
I did uninstall all MODS before update. I am also running AMS2CM 0.1.7. I am using bootfile 1.4.7.2-2285. I also have verified the game files. I also have completely uninstalled AMS2 and started from scratch and am still getting the same results. I did the simple way by uninstalling MODS first and updating everything and then reinstalling the MODS 3 times. The complete game uninstall - reinstall 2 times. That's when I came to the conclusion that either the bootfiles need to be updated or the MOD does. I always seem to get the same results the MODS all work except for the physics and the new Barcelona track doesn't show up in the track list or I leave the MODS off and get the Barcelona track and have the new physics on the cars that have been changed in the game. I will follow your directions and see if the results change for me. If you see anything above that I did wrong or missed please let me know. I appreciate the help.
P.s. I uninstalled the MOD Files by completely removing the MOD folder from the AMS2 game folder before running AMS2CM and letting it uninstall the MODS, then updating and reinstalling the game. Then I added the MOD file back to the game directory and ran AMS2CM to reinstall MODS. Is this the right procedure or did I miss something? Again appreciate the Help.

Simple solution: don't use the Bootfiles if you use the last AMS2CM 0.1.7. It is automatically extracted and edited. If you have the bootfiles 1.4.7.2, it will be activated, and this bootfiles is for the previous game version. So no Barcelona or FUSA23 and F Junior

This pack is great the models are beautiful. Only thing that I wish I was good at was modifying ai so they are not pack racing so much I am sure its not the mod but if anyone has managed a fix please let me know.

Is physics of this mod affected by stock physics (eg. due to tyres or others parameters)? I feel some differences between playing before and after 1.48.

I notice a strange (at least for me!) behaviour of the car in oval: eg. starinting in 4-5th position and using standard setup, I have no problem with grip when I follow at least one car, but if I gain 1st position, I immediately lost the grip in curves. This is strange to me because with the same setup, I have no problem in qualify, regardless following AI or not. Is it the normal behaviour if Indy cars in oval (eg. in F1/proptoype generally is the opposite, lost grip when following, normal grip if sole)? thanks

After the last update, I downloaded and installed the new bootfile, when loading the mod to go to the track, it hangs in the middle of the loading bar and exits to Windows. I've done everything and nothing works. In the previous version it was working normally

DALLARA IR18 2023 MOD (Road Version) - Full 2023 Indycar Experience In AMS2

I’m new To PC gaming AMS two mods and race department so forgive me if this is the wrong spot to ask questions. In regards to the Indy 2023 skins and tracks aesthetically beautiful beautiful work how do I ascertain as to when I need to check for updates to the mod that I’ve already installed?

for example if I want to download the ghost halo post , want updates to kits or AI or etc. I’m having a hard time kind of navigating within the mod creators update page.

Lastly I’m sure this has nothing to do with the mod but out of all the open wheel cars on the game the brakes I cannot figure out on these indie cars for 2023 and the engine sounds again this is probably not a mod question but if anyone can point me in the right direction. most of the other Open wheel cars in AMS two sound fantastic, but the 2023 Indy cars sound like a garbage disposal
