Damn those shots look sexy!!
i have a suspicion an expensive new computer build will be needed to handle this title.
If they can expand on the already good ffb, physics, ai, licenses currently in Raceroom coupled with the unreal engine and the features they have mentioned. I cant see this title letting us down....but time will tell!
Thankfully Simbin/Sector3 have never disappointed me in the past so I expect the trend to continue :)

Well I'm getting old before my time I think. A couple of people have posted to say these images don't look good to them, which is a personal opinion and I've no issue with that of course, in fact opinions are a good thing and always welcome :)

It's just to me, and maybe my eyes are failing me, but they look simply exceptional imho.

If the actual graphics are just 70% as good as the screens, if the licence is a good one, if the tracks and sounds are on R3E level and if the physics and FFB are on a par with the current standard (whatever you consider that to be) the I will be one hell of a happy happy happy bunny.

Now how on earth can we pass the next 12 months until it's here!

I agree. I never cease to be amazed at computer graphics and how they just seem to get better and better. I even thought this all those years ago when I first played Microprose GP1 with a joystick and pretended to be Mansell. It justs gets better and better.

I remember F1 1997 on the PS1. I clearly remember talking to my dad about it and we both agreed that if you squint your eyes just a little bit its practically the same as on telly!

Man how deluded we were :

It does look good.. on a screenshot. Driving with that overdone stuff, not so much. Just my 2 cents.
I wanna feel like driving a car not playing Paragon so I hope they'll take care or allow as much as possible graphic options so I can turn them off (and a few sliders). Just like P CARS, it looks better when you reduce settings, to me at least

Looks good but also looks a little weird for some reason.

But i give it the benefit of the doubt.

Hopefully they'll get rid of the R3E payment system though

So true. That 2nd screen scared me, with that blurred background, pCars style (but less shitty). Having said that, I hope they will release screens with normal day light conditions, which is after all the conditions used 90% of times.

By the time this title is out i'll definitely have a VR device, and then the super-duper graphics won't interest me as long as it's optimized for a (hopefully) 4k VR device.

Jeeez
Okay, I don't know what they'll be charging, but I'm buying this.
I'll sell my first-born if need be.

Wait a minute......I don't have a first-born........
Never mind, doesn't release until 2018, plenty of time to get one. :D

Nice one. Glad to make you so happy Ears. By the time GTR3 is released, Occulus Rift CV5 should be out and perfected and half price. ;)

VR support in RaceRoom is something of a game changer. I only really played AC before that, Project CARS doesn't even count.

For me, RaceRoom - physics or force feedback - or both - seems to suit me and help me learn a lot more than anything else I've played in VR.
