GTR 2

You can't compare GTR2 with any NFS game. One is a simulator and the other is an arcade raceer, which is meant to be just for fun. I've been playing sims for a year now and I think I'm only just getting to grips with it now, with an NFS game however I could get to grips with it in half an hour.

I thought i open a poll. Saw some old friends playing GTR2 (Iso and Slider) but on amateur level!

Lol Bram, i saw slider there once too, i just think he is too much arcadish, but really Bram, what were u doing in these servers? Are u also using all aids on? lol :)

I presume you have the original key for the game. If you do then you could install someone else's copy of the game and then put your key in.

not be illegal as you originally owned the game.

Time on track is the only way to get to grips with this game. Put the laps in (very gently to begin with) and the progress you make will be reward in itself. You will soon become addicted to knocking 100ths off your laptimes.

Good luck

And only when you are confident that you have reached your best time and you can picture the track and turns and know how the car handles then start making changes to your setup.
Track time is the only way!

I was impressed with the looks. I didn't have much time to play it though. It seemed the cars turn like a bus. I tried some quick tuning and really didn't see much improvment.

This was the first time I tried out GTR2 since Evo and wow I can't believe the difference. I don't know if GTR Evo seems to just stick to the road to much or if GTR2 is just not realistic. I'm confused now. Either way, I feel better with Evo.

I really hope this is converted for GTR Evo

I use that wheel Gonzalo, the clutchless version mind. You can buy an extra pedal set though and chain them as the wheel has 5 axes. Gear paddle levers were a problem initially but they made a revision and sent me some out with a stronger gusset.
