GTR 2

It's an incredible mod and the cars are very challenging to drive. The look of the cars is simply unrivalled by anything out there. The toughest car to drive is the FXX but IMO its also the most fun, you really have to drive the car you really do have to put in the elbow grease to tame the beast. The only downside is that Race 07 has superior FFB so I hope we will see a conversion in the near future since thats the only thing that's lacking atm.

We need to do an FXX cup in the racing club.

PS. F50 GT = MONSTER

I gave it a try, but the thing that stopped me from playing it was the car sounds - compared to Evo they just seemed so flat and didn't seem to fit my expectations of what the cars should sound like.

Yeh the sounds are not too good really, the physics aren't the best either, the FFX is horrible physics wise and not how the actual car or a Ferrari drives in real life.

The models are very nice though, DBR9, and Ultima stand out the most for me.

Well, considering you have had no response mate, I'll post a couple of the videos so people can see what goes on in our events.

Round 6

Round 7

As I have said in other posts, we are not looking for new drivers, we are at full capacity both this year and the next. I think Steve just wanted to share some of our endeavours so that you can see how some of us race. Just killing time till we can get together on the RD servers.

The videos are more about showing the strength in-depth of our racing, not to justify me. The fact we have several levels of ability and the racing that goes on therein was more my intent. Whilst I appreciate the sentiment, the HCC is more than just the stuff I and others do in the background, it's all about compromise which ultimately ends up with the racers themselves. From an initial six drivers to today's 20+ grid, everyone has brought something to the party. The Zolder video being the point exactly, if Albie had not helped out it probably wouldn't have been available.

'I heartily endorse this organisation and/or product....'

:) actually i really do, its a dam good series it has to be said! Its been my championship of choice for 2008, as well as a few other RD members

One thing that is unique about this series, thats not been mentioned, is the way that the series spreads out the event. over 3 weeks the first 2 sunday nights form 1 hour qualifying sessions with the 3rd week being the race.

This allows those people with limited racing time a chance to fully prepare for an event the way they might not otherwise be able too (Quite a few 'racing dad's' out there who know what im talking about, im sure :D)

It also builds the event meaning when you do get to that final race day its been at the end of a 3 week build up and makes it all the more special.

And even more important not to bin it in the first corner!

Races are 1 hour with 2x fuel and 2x tyre wear.

We have a broad range of abilities but everyone involved is in it for the racing and the enjoyment.
