I've just read your post and I totally respect and more importantly understand your opinion. I myself was playing the need for speed games a year or two back, mainly through lack of choice (I spent a fortune on ram, graphics card etc. so wanted eye candy). This prompted me to start playing Grid. Grid prompted me to buy a G25 and finally, the G25 prompted me to try sims (Race07, GTR2, Rfactor) because let's face it, if you're gonna blow £150 on a wheel based on realism you want to use it to it's full potential. Errm.. I've forgotten my point.. aah yes, if you prefer arcade racers, do it. Personally I prefer sims but you shouldn't think you're missing out on anything by sticking with the arcade stuff, after all this isn't a career choice, we're here for fun.

In addition to my last post it just occured to me. I honestly don't play sim racers for the realism. TBH I wouldn't know how a Ferrari 360 is supposed to handle if it came up and bit me on the arse. I like these sim games because I like the physics, regardless of whether it's realistic or not.

GP2 2005 Conversion

Today version 1.0 of the GP2 2005 mod for rFactor has been released as a conversion for GTR2. It adds another open wheel mod to the game and allows for close racing in equal powered cars.

GTR2 Dead Disc

My Disc died so I contacted 10tacle we tole me to mail it to Germany and I would be given a replacement this I did and so far I have had nothing returned to me. Anyone else have any luck getting discs changed?

10tacle does not exist anymore.

Yeah, I don't think you'll get anything back from 10tacle just as Ramon explained already. Contacting SimBin would be the best option in my opinion.

But what exactly do you mean by "My disc died"? Is it broken or something?
If you really wan't the disk, I guess you could buy it relatively cheap nowadays..

I had to rebuild my pc and when I came to install GTR2 again it the disc would no longer be read. 10tacle support were more than happy to replace it si I sent it to a Martin Szymanski, 10tacle studios AG, Customer Support.
Obviously wasted my time no matter as Evo feels to me far better than GTR2 ever did.
