Fun race for me.Very beautiful race with Maserati in GT. Very pleasant to lead. Very stable with a good adjustment. I finish with position 4. 2 stops with the stand because of consumption. I changed the tires with the 1st stop only while hoping to be able to gain 1 place but that does not have is enough. Cheer has all.

Yeah so? Two reasons:
1) I cant afford to pay out 170 quid for a wheel as im saving up to move in with the other half
2) I game on a laptop and therefore don't have a fixed desk at present so a wheel just isnt feasible.
Oh and....
3) I've raced on the console for about 10 years, im used to a pad and can drive just as well with it.

if u change your mind about a wheel Andy this may be useful for u seeing as u use a laptop. wheel stand pro

I will be ordering one soon for my g25 as i cant have the wheel setup on my desk all the time. ill post my impressions on it when i receive it if anyone is interested:thumb:

farewells are always nice, I've never really had a go at GTR2, though, just done about five races here at RD/RSC/RPM so I'll give it a go with the LOTUS, that nifty little brat we all had to use in the GTR2 driving school I'll see many Blue Flags, lol!

Wahou what an exiting race for me. eace:

I start in 5° position and i go no more fast to see what apen. After i pass Neil and i have big fun with Roy and i pass him.

But i make a big noob mistake in the pit, i don't push off the starter and my mecanics stand by me. :frusty:

After i came back fast behind Neil, and we have a very nice battle and i pass him in the last lap.

Its not equal because he have no more power than me but its the race :Banane35:

I think one more event next week is good because GTR -Evo release is on the 29/08/08 in France but we have the RD Wtcc too next week

fun race for me
to bad the low field

but it was fun
after my pit i went a bit downhill....
as phone rang....then i had to mute my sound so the person can speak on the phone...
then i cut at the exit of the left hairpin...which i had a stop n go penalty
some more spins...
lol the c5 sure made my day...
but fuel was awesome....
at the end i surely had some 20 to 40 liters of fuel left

thx Christopher for this nice event, I realized I should have done more GTr2, really really liked it, it was only - I guess - my 4th online race ever in gtr2 Sorry for giving a red Ferrari a bit of a nudge in lap1, I was so excited to be able to pass it with my nifty lil' Lotus that I gave him a little bump.

@Kevin: where'd you get GTr Evo so early?

Shame about the low turnout, and I had to leave early too, but it was fun while it lasted. Coming from the back against all those different cars was interesting, and it was fun fighting through, I even got to 2nd overall passing all the GT cars, a BMW and an RSR on the way in my plucky Mosler! As I said, I had to leave shortly after that, but it was good fun anyway.
