GTR 2

Pre-Qualification for Round 4 has started!

The Server is up. You can now qualify for Round 4 at Spa-Francorchamps 2003.

Check the laptimes here:
Timing.RaceDepartment.com - The Next Generation Racing Community

We also like to advice for this track to keep in mind the 2 wheel rule, especially in the busstop chicane. BUT, it is not allowed to touch or use the grass as runoff area or cutting just to improve time. We will keep an eye on this.

hmm, i ive used cars from carpack (sim-challenge/DRNL) so you problably wouldn't see a bmw.

i do have a video of me doing a hotlap in an RSR:

you wont have any use with my setup just yet, since you can only win around 1 second with a good setup. You need practise :)

Yoeri and i will land on Schiphol Airport at 19.00 CET tonight. Is it possible you leave the server open for one more hour Mr. Wizard? We are so full of racing adrenaline that we plan a p1 and p2 in qualy without even having the time to practice :D

Cutting busstop

so many doit, watched them doit.
half of top 10times ( altleast ) are done but cutting bus stop.
many of you were in server with me yesterday, funny how i lead
you by 1 second to busstop and lose 1-2 seconds in 2 breakings
( bus stop and final corner ).
or am i that bad driver or is ther cutting going on.
also wahtched whilton do that under 2.20 time. he went straight through
the busstop and didnt even try to stay on track.

but ill finish this to good stuff too: some drivers did their runs very cleanly,
cheers for you all. too bad most of you arent in top 10 cause of it.

I am fully agree
I may be slow, but 3sec, it should perhaps not be overemphasized guys .... ;)
may be that the pilots of goodwill could leave their replay of their "hotlap "???? ;)
I thought the hotlaps were only saved from race sessions and not qualifying

hotlaps are always saved in training, time attack, practice, qualifying & race sessions
or better yet...any time you go on the track

this will be looked into further.
if people don't keep within the rules....then time penalties will be put

am i then please enlighten me and show me where because when i look in my replay folder then i have no hotlaps saved that correspond to the times spent in qualifying on the server.

after each session, there is a replay of time spent in the server and turn the fastest.
I have nothing Regulated but I will see if there is an option in the game ..

If my replay is there, sure, I will post it for you. I did try and stay on the track, but you can enter the busstop very quickly without touching the grass!! and still keeping 2 wheels on track. But if you were gonna slag me off, you could of had the decency to of 'pm'd' me, and not on the open forum!!

As for the last race....well I saw someone (even after warnings in quali) cut the last chicane EVERY LAP!! Nothing said..........

Nah, time to get involved: everybody cool down please.

Tones of the postings like where this thread leads is not going to be tolerated.

On the first place we expect from everybody to drive and race fair, if it is not going to happen we will interfere.

my game is in french, but in the section "replay" (french its "ralenti"), you can find options for safeguarding your best lap ...
A tip, No hotlap is saved when you go to next session, only if you leave the qual session your qual hotlap is saved.
