Qualify: 2nd Finish: 1st
Had to quickly reacquaint myself with 911RSR as there were some fast times popping up,had to settle for 2nd start,but made a total rocket blinder and headed clear to T1 in the lead,second place could stick to me though,as the car and tyres and ofcourse me settled in a bit i could make a small gap,i had it up to 4secs until someone recovering ahead spun across my path bringing me to halt with minor damage,i would have thought some kind of apology was in order,but none came,goodbye 4sec gap,hello second place all over my back end,by the end of the next lap he was past me,but i pitted in right after that.
A good stop for fuel and the same med/hard tyres and on my way again,some very kind and generous blue flag guys there tonight,sacraficing their own battle to let me go unhindered,many thanks :thumb:.
