Quick heads up for everyone... the Racenet Challenge this week again has the LIghtweight Cup featured as the openwheel challenge (SEPANG INTERNATIONAL CIRCUIT // SOUTH CIRCUIT REVERSED // Time Attack) so another chance to level up your X-bow or Atom

Inside Sim Racing said it's on par with Gran Turismo and Forza for realism.
I can't agree with that. The handling is far more forgiving than GT and Forza. It is barely more realistic than the Dirt series but on asphalt and definitely feels like the same engine. The way the car rotates in an oversteer situation is very strange - like a hovercraft.

Ok, I'm by no means the fastest guy on here so quit pumping me up in comparison to Michael Schumacher and The Stig. I agree Watts, don't change your setup at all. You earned it and deserve it. Other courses will suit us maybe a bit better.
I will say with the Audi, I noted what appears to be turbo lag with the throttle, has anybody noticed this. Only reason I say it is it mimics my real twin turbo BMW, just that slight hesitation then watch out as the turbos spool up.
I'm looking forward to racing in the XBow that will be a fun race.

You know the Stig. And you raced in England with people who know Michael Schumacher well. As far as I'm concerned, that makes you the fastest guy. :D

I didn't notice any lag and I had the same turbo on my 2009 MINI. Of course, with the MINI, the Germans had figured out a way to virtually eliminate lag by having, in essence, two turbos. A little one to pump up the lower rpms and a big one to jack you up when you got into the 3000s. Maybe this modern Audi does the same? Hell, I needed a third turbo at my pace. But agree that the xbow will be great.

Cheers for that if you get Platinum takes you up to Lv12 straight away  Gone for the Atom it's more about countersteering these cars then anything so shall be lots of sideways action

Sorry about the video quality this is the first race. I didn't like the audio of my one sided conversation so I added music, LoL. The second race was kind of boring to watch so I'll let Peter's tell that story.

I'm not sure I even watched the video. No offense. But that music selection was fantastic! Average drummer, but great timing, and a heavy, yet rocking along song.
