<-jimmys reaction to the pages

first of all - nice 2KF1 tactic Aidan :D, I didn't tell anyone from ART to like that post, and I am not going to. (premium powers should let you know that Andy didn't like the post, even though he was online. Pablo wasn't online)
secondly - aren't you tired of ranting? At least it's not Daniel, so that's good
thirdly - Jimlaad is back, he's probably looking at all that 5 pages of crap.. this ain't gonna end well
That moment when they've always agreed with me...

I thought at least James was usually neutral, and Nathan just came to the series.

edit: wait, I just want to know one more thing actually, how would the series react if it wasn't Daniel that got the electrical fail? If it was someone else, let's say Ben. I'd still say it was the pitstop bug. Would the series go mad for that because they think I'm biased or.. just accept the pitstop bug?

Right @Milos, can you please put the FRIKKING CHAMPIONSHIP IN POST 1 SO THAT I DON'T HAVE TO DELVE THROUGH ALL THIS CRAP TO FIND OUT HOW I'M DOING.

Secondly. This pitstop bug has happened since you took over Milos, surely you could have looked for a solution by now. Every time it rains we seem to have a "Oh BTW, the result you've just seen isn't the result". WTF?

Thirdly, why don't we just do an entire rebrand of the series. Scrap this farce and start afresh with a new series completely (GT's or LMP's for example). Then do what Steven did in 1988 and what I did in rFactor series 1 for teams, put up a list of numbers and let people choose them at random. Each then pairs you up with another person randomly (so have say F set as Team 7, driver 2) and make them decide on a team from there. That way the team bias may change, and we can juts move away from the Tourers. Obviously the three races thing would be a problem, but I'm sure something can be worked out.

If Jamie wanted to leave, that's fine, but it is pure decency to at least ask their team mate/manager what they want to do. @Milos If Andy just walked away halfway through the weekend, would you just go on without him, or would the race "Be delayed for an amount of time while a replacement is found"? I think it would be the second one.

If I wasn't doing well, and I didn't have the record of having competed or entered in every race of an RD simulated season, I would leave this right now.

To be quite honest, I don't know. Maybe because I don't expect it to happen, and I most likely wouldn't find a replacement anyway for a while. Just out of curiocity, what would you do?

About championships in post 1, I was thinking of it actually. But just I have got to mention it here, the rFactor race-by-race results that I requested so I don't have to go through all the crap to find a certain race result, never really counted. So one part of me does say "go through that crap, I did that too". Don't worry, I'll put it, but I just have to mention this.

and just to say it I am fed up with all this crap right now. I have thought of leaving moderating due to exactly this, like Jamie said "being one click away", and leaving RD if it was that bad aswell (and I was one click away before in the past). Might make some people happy actually if I left RD, and from what I can see right now it would make most people, if not everyone happy. Not because we are going to get robbed by this vote, because of the constant ranting that can't seem to stop. So I am considering my options.

Well considering that I talk to them near on daily, have numerous times explained the position we're facing, they've supported me as the voice of this team and as such have supported our viewpoint through the voting. Maybe that is hard to imagine, but for me that is what a team is called.
And yes, yes I would complain no matter who it was. I would imagine that I would probably question if it was a 2KF1 member as well.

As for Jamie he confirmed that he was unaware of race 3, but at this point would rather not take part, as such if a re-run is done we want Nathan in the 23, as it would make sense that a car number wouldn't get changed halfway through a weekend.

Don't take the criticism personally. No one wants you to leave. It's just considtency we are after because in my opinion it's no coincidence that most of the controversy seen here happen to happen in your games. (WoRD, GPTCC). You just have to learn from these mistakes which seem to be caused by lack of communication between you and the players. Plus there are a few examples where you seem to favor your own team (on purpose or not in purpose, doesn't matter) but the fact is many have felt or feel it is happening. Especially if you are on top of this dismissing democratic votes, there is a huge clash of interest there.

And regarding the pit stop bug... In my opinion fiddling with the results is wrong. The only solution to the problem is to test the mod thoroughly prior the season and chance it if there are such "game breaking bugs". Regarding he Canada incident, if results have to be changed, the results should be taken from previous lap. Assuming what might have happened is not okay. Saying this, Daniel pitting was not unrealistic or bug-like behavior IMHO.

Still don't get it what was so controversial with War of RD

as I said, I leave that to you to decide. I know I didn't, ever, and I know I will continue not to do it. As you said, at least that is how I feel, I do not know about others.

anyway.. Daniel's grid position was one rant, with a democratic vote he will be classified 17th.
Now back onto race 3.
Daniel started 6th, really way off where he should've started after the vote.
another thing to mention is a lack of driver in the field, Nathan.

So I want to hear opinions again, should there be a re-run? The last time there was a re-run was Zandvoort due to 2 grid screwups. This time, arguably we could say there are 2 unfortunate grid screwups. The commentators all agreed there shouldn't, but that was before the democratic vote on page 24.
The re-run would not be broadcasted or commentated. Results only.
like means yes, and creative means no. I want to hear your comments aswell (but please not another damn rant), but there is the third democratic vote of this weekend. I'll leave this vote open for a whole day, just like the last one.

That moment when 2 additional commentators clearly speak for the entire series.

And hence we are here. Obviously a race re-run due to, as you put it, 2 grid mistakes.

As I said that was before the democratic vote on page 24. Now they don't seem to give a damn anymore.

anyway, seems like there will be a re-run from what I can see so far. I'll prepare the results just in case, and also the marketplace is closed. I will re-open it again after the vote, with all the buys done after Montreal reset (due to likely different budgets). To make up for that, marketplace will be a bit longer.
I will also post race 1 results here again, due to the unability to find them in all that crap :roflmao:
