Goddard retakes championship lead
With his second win this season Mane Goddard got back to 1st in the drivers' standings. Brugman with back-to-back second places and Sigoulakis with his first top 3 result since the '95 German GP joined him on the podium.
Ancevski had a horrible start to the race and couldn't hold on to first, and was out of the points positions by lap 5. Engberink took the lead, followed by Diehl and Goddard. Diehl couldn't hold on to 2nd though and dropped to 5th before he retired with a gearbox failure in lap 10.
Rinneaho's race ended in lap 2 already, going 3-wide in turn 4 with Black and Buurlage saw him ending up in the tyrewall, the other 2 spun off as well but could continue. Kederer went off the same place one lap later, all by himself though. Laad retired once again, this time a suspension failure ended his race. Drivers took a high risk in the opening laps, resulting in several offs, and shaking up the order. By lap 15 Engberink still held on to the lead, only just ahead of Goddard. Foro followed in 3rd, then Brugman, Utzer, Hunsley and Mishra. Foro and Hunsley both retired though even before the stops.
Everyone went for a one stopper. Engberink came in a few laps before Goddard, which ended up costing him the lead. Brugman remained in 3rd, while Sigoulakis was up to 4th. The McLaren driver showed a great pace having started from 20th only. Behind him was Utzer, Mishra, Laskey, Reed, Buurlage and Kederer.
Goddard started to pull away from Engberink, who now had to push to keep ahead of fellow countryman Brugman. He overdid it though and dropped to 5th after a mistake. He could pass Utzer for 4th a few laps later, but the podium was gone. Laskey couldn't hold on to 7th in his first race, and dropped to 10th in the closing laps. Keranen with a late charge could move up from 11th to 8th.

FIA Press Conference
@Mane Goddard: It seems it was crucial that you got past Engberink during the stops, was there no way to overtake him on track?
@Donaldinho105: On the podium again, do you think we'll see you on the top step soon?
@Manolis Sigoulakis: Fantastic performance today, what was the secret behind the superb pace you had today?
