unfortunately i'm going to have to step down from the championship. with exams coming up and things like missing 2 races because i'll be in America i just cant make many of the races, plus like last night my internet just won't work at all most of the time.

stick me down as a reserve for now because after exams especially (and if the internet works) i may be able to race again

Who do you think will be on the podium?
- Mattias, Saif and Manuel

Now that you've taken part in 2 races, do you feel you're in a different position in the league as to where you thought you would be before the season started?
- I surely do. With 24 points after two very bad tracks for me, I think that I am in a very great position for the rest of the season. And I think the Ferrari team has shown that we are looking for both titles this season: And we will not give up without fighting.

What are your thoughts on the circuit and what is your target for the race?
- It is a fine circuit, and looking at the very very great setup that Matte and I found for Malaysia, I think we can use a very similar setup for this track, and then I am sure we will get a great result again. I think top 4 is realistic, but I would be disappointed if I finish outside the podium.

What is the dynamic between you and your teammate like?
- We have a very great relationship, and we drive to help each other. For now, we are even, and we will of course have a nice fight between each other in a race, but we will not pick the first driver until the end of the season. I really think that we do great.

Will Jamie quit?
- No. Why should he?

Great battle all race and I won by 0.035!! Inter team battle has already started. Team Williams is mighty!!

Now that you've taken part in 2 races, do you feel you're in a different position in the league as to where you thought you would be before the season started? Im not sure yet, I think I'll wait till Spain time to properly judge that but by the looks of it I'm firmly midfield, which is alot higher than I thought I would be so I'm happy if that is truly where I am.

What are your thoughts on the circuit and what is your target for the race? I dont mind the circuit, I actually kinda like it to drive lol, My aim will be to just have another clean race and a midfield placing again, hopefully a 6th lol

What is the dynamic between you and your teammate like? Off track we get on brilliantly, on track im not sure since we havent been on the same piece of track for a while.

Will Jamie quit? How dare you ask me such a question! who the **** is this Jamie guy anyway? Sounds like a right twat.

This was an interesting one certainly! Rain for quali in which I was happy with fourth considering I'd not touched this one in the wet. Congrats to Gavin on pole.

Race started ok got a better start than Karl and Richard and tried the inside of Karl, realised there wasn't enough room and backed of, slotting back into fourth. Mitch then got past me and Richard and chased down Karl and Gavin. Richard ran off at turn 1 and I was back in fourth, then Mitch was of the track and up into third. Gavin thought he might have caused Mitch to go off so slowed down for him, turns out he didn't but this resulted in me being very close to Gavin. Gavins tyres started to go and I got past. Karl and Gavin pitted moving me and Richard the only two front runners on primes into first and second. Then bam safety car for those bloody bollards! I hate the safety car but on this particular circumstance it's even worse! This could have been a potential podium for me, other than Richard and Karl who's pace in the wet I don't know, I was quicker than everyone in the wet. Richard and I would have had one less stop due to starting on primes. Safety car meant I was stuck in a battle with Gavin and Mitch that I shouldn't have been in, was fun but still.

With this when the rain started under pressure from Gavin I locked up entering the pits and slid back onto track and into Gavin, sorry dude! On dry tyres in the wet I then locked again at turn 3 and straight into the wall. No wing and wrong tyres meant an awful lap. Got in and got inters and then came out to switch to wets, only I had a penalty for the incident with Gavin. Served that and another bad lap on wrong tyres.

Finally out on the right tyres nearly a minute behind Gavin. Caught up pretty fast passing Dan in the process, as the rain reduced I hit the wall on the last turn losing my wing, got around another slow lap and went for inters early as a gamble, wasn't perfect at first but kind of paid of as it reduced the gap to Gavin by 20 seconds but he was still 30 ahead. From then on it was just finishing, due to disconnects I got fifth but fourth with Mark being ahead.

Congrats to the podium finishers!

With regards to Mark it would be cool for him to race in the cup but it's full and he had a place in the champ. Until that changes or if it does change he shouldn't take points, just as we shouldn't in the champ

Alex: Your chances of a podium this season?

To be brutally honest. Probably 1 in 10000. It's a bloody long shot in reality, but there were some races last year I got close. Brazil 4th, Germany and Spain 5th. If I drive like I did in those races and get a slice of luck who knows. Better to be optimistic than Jamie.

meh, a bad start to the season. On the bright side things can only get better. I seem to recall a certain Koala with 0 points at this stage last season.

Now that you've taken part in 2 races, do you feel you're in a different position in the league as to where you thought you would be before the season started? Well I'm one point worse off than last season, so I'm pretty much meeting my expectations of matching last season.
What are your thoughts on the circuit and what is your target for the race? I ran very well here last season, so I hope to do so again and finish top 8.
What is the dynamic between you and your teammate like? We're pretty close pace wise, get on well and don't crash so it's good.

Because I'm crap and slow. In australia I think I could have gotten close if my pit crew didn't send me out without giving me a new front wing, but in malaysia my tyre wear was just horrid. Hopefully I'll get points sooner this season than I did last season though.

Swap Abu Dhabi with Canada, so an actual decent track gets the double points. Or Silverstone with Abu Dhabi, it'd be fun to see them drive in the snow :L
