Pre Race Questions

  1. Does your new car for this season feel good, ok or terrible?
  2. Was Australia what you were hoping for?
  3. What will the weather be for Malaysia?
  4. Who will be on pole, finish 1st and set the fastest lap?
  5. Will we see a Mercedes whitewash in F1 this season?
  6. Are you racing?

1. it feels good.
2. No, I wasn't hoping for my wheel to come unplugged on lap 1. I think without that a top 5 was on.
3. one dry session, one damp.
4. That would be Jamie, Jordie, and a Dan
5. quite possibly
6. Yes

I'm away for two weeks after this race, so you'll be in the perfectly capable hands of Jordie and Dan, and Jamie to host races.

So I have two controllers acting weird..
The one I had in this race found it funny to change the camera position everytime in a hard right hander.. (The track is clockwise, so that was fun) AND found it hilarious to randomly shift down, whenever it liked to do...
I can tell you, its horrifying in the middle of a corner. Thank god it didn't happen when I was in a direct battle.. but this comprimised my race a little as I wasn't confident in any right hander..

Looking forward to my debut this weekend!

1) I use the Red Bull in another league that I do but I don't think it was great around this track.
2)Can't answer lol.
3) Dry with rain towards the end.
4)Not me, not me and not me.
5)I hope not but it wouldn't surprise me.
6) Oh yeah!

Won't we need the DLC to be admitted into the lobby, or has this been changed?

Carlos, right now yo would be first reserve, but a couple of guys have been not too keen on racing these events recently, so there is a higher than normal chance you will have a ride. If the DLC is not a problem, I'd go ahead and sign. It's no assists, but you are used to that. It's also no (or little) OSD, except for Gavin who had Doppler radar and HUD displays that can see cars behind hills.

I believe that it got patched so can enter all games :)

Message from the Stewards

Adel will retain his 10 second penalty he received from the game, and will receive a further 2 10 second penalties for the other two incidents. We feel all incidents were his fault and were avoidable.

Mats will receive a 15 second penalty as we feel he was the catalyst for the turn 1 calamity.

We issue a serious warning to Dan for the turn 1 incident as, although we don't feel he caused anything, he didn't take enough avoiding action, resulting in a coming together with another car.

Ashley will receive a 10 second penalty for causing a collision and failing to wait. We would also like to warn Ash to take more care in the future, especially when he suspects lag to be involved.

Thank you.

Q; 13th.
Waited with Mitchell till 5 min to go to see what times everyone did. Decided to get out on options so I would got ahead of all the prime runners (except Mike) but I failled in my lap so went back in and decided to start on fresh primes.

Race: 8th.
Had an okay start, luckily somehow managed to not get involved to much in the startcrash and was up in 6th with Jamie ahead of me. At this stage I was faster than him but couldn't get close because when I was, my controller started to freak out.

Managed to go to lap 8 on the prime, which gave me the lead in lap 7 but lost me too much time. I should have pitted one lap earlier.. Pitted for options and came out in 9th. Started to gain places but never made it quite up the field due issues with my controller. Had a great battle once again with Jamie, looks like we have a battle on our hands between us this season. Scored points which I'm happy with seen the little practice I had for the first two races due exams.. See the issues and the battle here:

I don't think it should be a particularly recent track like Brazil / Singapore etc. - something we haven't raced for a while would be nice.

Great idea to have a 'Prestige' race at the end of the season though.

As I can't win the championship - perhaps my focus should shift to winning this! :D
