Yes, that was the part. Really don't understand it, I just mis brake and try to get the control of my car back.
It's just one of these things.... AFter you Dan passed, I tried to catch up again, but with the penalty it was of no use so after a lap or two I waited just before the finish line for Mattie to finish and than drove over the line too.
What I said I will take only the good things with me to the next race.

hey Fellas...firstly i apologise to couple of you i slid out or just messed up and got in the way while being lapped at a demoralising rate of knots!! which brings my question to all who can help SOS ;( at risk of sounding like a sook or an idiot at best....

Why is my pace sooo slow!! grand prix mode i practice with legendary difficulty, use no assists and manage to be top 3 fastest if not fastest and have finished race in same positions at 50% 75% and have attempted 100% distances am only second or so slower than Bortz in TT which i know is not a good way of judging pace But hey if anyone can say almost as fast as Andrew then they must have some pace!!!????? Or am i just wrong too old silly or hopless.....??

simon, you sound frustrated m8. before i give my advice, i remind you i am not particularly fast myself. my advice...completely ditch TT mode, it is useless for setting up your car and useless for learning the nuances of a track. do GP mode in a red bull and measure yourself against the AI. when your half a second quicker than them at least, no assists and your car feels stable and consistent, you will be more competitive.

Bill, don't know if I will make it tonight, after 3 hours sleep a feel like a wet newspaper, but am at the office working.

sorry if this is in the wrong spot, had no idea where to post it...
i'm having some msi afterburner issues. occassionally comes up with an 'error' (corrupt something or other, nonsense) and won't work/open (if anyone has had this problem and has solved it please let me know).
my question is, what is the difference between the normal and beta versions ??

To all users of afterburner.

As this is just beta test software it has been setup to become unusable after a certain amount of time (no idea how long) If you get the 'error missing or corrupt components' message then you must redownload the newest version. Simply re-installing will not work.

Thanks for the results mate, did you have any rain? we had 50% chance of light rain but it never rained. Disappointed me and some other drivers.

No rain for us I forgot to look at the forcast. Don't know if anyone else did. I'm glad it didn't rain though, only because I was leading and u never want rain if your leading.

just done a low 1.17 with the ferrari, mid nineteens with hard compound.

Nice time Mark.. I am in the mid-nineteens on the hard tyres too. Hopefully get some more practice in today or tomorrow not sure I'll get down to a low 17 though.. that's quick!! Be interested to hear what your splits are...

cool, think it was 1.17 3?? i'l post sector times shortly when have another bash, got the williams down to 1.18.4?? i know i was 1.6 faster than hamilton (closest a.i) through sector 1 (legend).. can't belive i never tried without racing line before now, feels like i have new game to play!! using the quick set up at min (3rd from left) just for the guys having problems try that set up see if your any quicker. just got new mic for thursday so i'l be a little more chatty than usual!
Oh 1 thing that really really changed my lap times was brake balance i adjusted to 53% front.
