Horrible, horrible race. Was well happy with qualifying 2nd, 2 tenths off pole and thought I was in good standing for the race. I didn't have a wet set up which is why my race went tits up. Started well and managed to hold my position and was keeping up with Lee for couple of laps. Then the rain came, and then it was pit stop time so on went the wets. Had good pace and me and Thomas had a good few laps where we were within 1.5 seconds of each other. With the rain getting harder and track getting worse then my set up just didn't work. Went backwards from then on and finished last of remaining running cars. Not an enjoyable race for me, but stuck it out to gain a few extra points..

Q1:Q session was ok,did coupel mistakes , and had to much fuel on me
Q2:yeah my setup was overall good,but cant compeat whit TC gays ,tried 2 laps whit TC,it was like joke,like playing super mario or smt LOL
Q3:I went whit wets,no point for inters i think,anyway rain was coming more and more and that did not affect my result,i spun to wall after angar S corner,and i was out

CRAP Last 3rd or 4th time in a row

Race:
Another good start from 9th up to 8th then overtook someone so I went up to 7th and something else, made a mistake went down to 8th, had a great little battle with Des. (NL-Skunk) got away from him went up to get TH_123 I think that's his PSN, then Des comes Barrelling up my right, thanks God he had the sense to not hit me lol, but now Des I am not blaming you or myself, it was both our faults, you came infornt of me a split second too early and I had great accel speed and rather than give it to you I didn't know that you had come infront of me so early and we hit so racing icident. Then we started to play with the elements, the heavens opened, people started to struggle, then I saw TPOTANK, TH_123 & TADGER pit I thought I will stay out, I did and when I was about to stop there was still like a 16 sec gap so I could have gotten out behind TADGER but infront of TPOTANK & TH_123 however I missed the pit-lane LOL. Then coming up to the end of the lap TPOTANK was shooting up to me so when he was far back a bit thought I would make him have to yield so he bumped me, NO PROBLEM NO ISSUES only a little bump, I had a red front left BTW that's why I went wide so no need to say sorry, came in went straight for wets, then the heavens really opened saw TH_123 go off I think, then I saw Indreksan pit I was jumping for joy as I came out ahead of him, he then went wide and I was up to 6th or 7th. TPOTANK I think was next, and joy of joy he went wide and I was as happy as could be then I WENT WIDE , and he was back through, but I wouldn't give up NOO so on the second to last lap HE WENT WIDE and I defended the position for a very well deserved 5th place, THANKS FOR THE BEST RACE I HAVE EVER HAD THANK YOU

Media Questions:
1: Simple answer no I wasn't happy with my Q result horrible Q again.
2: I was set up for DRY to Inters not for Heavy Rain so I think to stay on nearly all the race in the full wet conditions was great
3: I stayed out on dries as TPOTANK, TADGER, TH_123 went in, then a lap later I MISSED THE PITS so I gambled to stay out to see how the conditions would change then I decided to go Extreme Wet tyres. Unlike most rel drivers I wasn't complaining for RED FLAG or Safety Car, I was like Lewis Hamilton, didn't really care about the conditions

my Qually didnt go to plan and was dissapointed with result i think was 6th

my car setup was slightly set up for changeable conditions

I took a big gamble as i pitted on lap 9 and went straight to full wets i was i 6th at the time , on lap 16 my tyres started to wear out but then it rained harder which suited my tyres 2 cars in front of me must of been on inters and had to stop again for wets meaning i passed them while they were in the pits my tyres surprisenly lasted and the gamble paid off and i game home in 4th which is a good result as i was strugeling .

had a good start but played it very carefully at first corner was going ok then rain game , lap 9 pitted early and took a gamble on full wets , i thought i made a big mistake as i was loosing 1-2 secs a lap on the full wet , then they started to wear and i thought i would have to make another pit stop later on as they went yellow on lap 16 i was in 6th ( by myself most of race ) .

then the rain came and probably saved my tyres ! i held on as others had to pit in heavy rain to the full wets and all the time i lost i got back and passed them while they were pitting to come home in a respectfull 4th .

1: Quali went very well and was very happy
2: was setup for the dry pretty much
3: went one more lap then Lee.

Qualified 4th, got up third then second, and then saw Lee come in for wets and i went one lap longer then him and came out just behind, he then had a half spin at club and i took the lead and kept the gap up, then we both stopped for wets again and i dropped the ball and had NO grip and had to just bring it home for second, was gutted not to win but was very happy with 2nd

sorry to dion.. i didnt noticed any contact at all.. a had my racing line and was looking for some mistakes from Zomacher, and this incident wasnt my fault..=\ but again - really sorry..

This 'incident' was between 16th and 17th seconds

great action jan and paul, thx. it was a fairly intense 9 laps for me, loved it!! it's funny that on this video i 'disappeared' half way down the back straight yet i remember clearly still driving all the way down to the end of it, turn in and......computer crash. that spot was where most of my action happened it seems lol. i passed you two there earlier (i did go deeper than i should have but in the heat of the battle sometimes you 'believe' your car will pull up well, despite being heavier with fuel). i like to brake in a straight line, that's why as i was going a little deeper than normal i didn't turn in earlier...we all made the corner no probs each time. my car seemed to be jumping all over the place? question: how come, when i was passing devil, my car was ghosting and his wasn't? is that MY computer or yours jan??

Well, I'm not sure what exactly causes this, for the most part I think it's the connection, bad ping just then and there between us, or something like that.

well, now the focus shifts to changeable melbourne, hot malaysia, empty china (strange..over a billion people and they can't fill a grandstand)...and awesome turkey. i apoligize in advance for hitting all 11 of you at some point...or maybe many points... over these 4 mini races, my in-laws are still here and i have little time to practise i'll probably be doing a "J-Lo" (rear end all over the place)...

NP Craig, it happens to us all!

Great battle with Oblix and the Flea-man just a shame I didn't record the race. Started on options, went to primes on lap 9 but couldn't resist going back to primes the lap after Oblix. That put me back out in 3rd behind the Flea... A few laps later I hoped passed him and held second to the end. Very sorry to Oblix for the bump. See you all on the track soon!
