Good race guys.
Apologies to SGCPulser for not restarting after he disconnected. We had already restarted twice and that is generous compared to the RD League terms.
grave2000ca also had connection problems that I'm sure he can explain better than I can. Something to do with being unable to join European servers?

Anyway...

Race 1 Germany - Hockenheim (50%) Race 34 Laps
Car - Renault
Qualified - 3rd 0.5sec(approx) off pole
Race Result - 4th 30sec(approx) from 1st

Well my race was abit of a mixed bag, good solid quali and good race pace wen i was in the groove but every now and then i would drop a wheel onto the kerb and the back end stepped out, that cost me positions early on.
I soon found myself i 5th but with contact and the early stop from jamie i got back into 3rd, i stay there most of the race until grizzly ptted again due to wrong tyre going on his 1st stop.
i felt my pace was increasing the closer he got to me but the after 3 laps of his pressure my old worn hards let go and he quickly skipped past me as i recovered from wheel spin.
By this time i was 3rd with 4 laps to go, i decided to try and hold onto 3rd, suddenly then i noticed this red blob closing in at more than 1sec a lap, it was jaime.
I thought i could hold him off as his pace wud naturaly slow the closer he got, but again going through turn 1 my tyres let go and i fish tailed at least 100m and lost almost 4 seconds.

So my Debut race a disappointing start with 4th but a good marker as i thought my pace was solid and competitive.

Looking forward to the next race.

good job all, nice fair race in the battles i had.

cya next week.

1, qualified in pole which I was happy with but could of done better time2, I was setup for fully dry conditions as I didn't have a wet setup3, I went straight to wets, thinking they would last the rest of the race but to be honest inters would have been better as my wets probably weren't going to last and I pitted again anyways. My race was one of the closest I have ever had, I pushed really hard on fast engine from the start and got a very good run flat out on the first corner and slowly increased the gap to 5 secs then put standard engine on to save fuel. small mistakes chipped my lead away and i then it starts raining. At this point I put my engine back on fast to get the most of my options. I pitted when my options were both orange on the front but got held up in pits and came out 2nd on wets. Then I was in a knail biting battle pretty much for the rest of the race, both exchanging places a few times down to small spins from us both. I could feel the track getting less grip as race went on which was fantastic be part of. I seen Jamie in front sliding about and then he went for pits. My wets were yellow and I had bout 6laps left so I took a quick decision to pit aswell. I ran the man over, come out about 5 secs behind Jamie and had no better grip than before pitting. Still tho Jamie must have made a few mistakes and I was soon behind again but then lost it again with another small spin. Then again I caught back up and took the lead on the last corner with a few laps left. Grip was really bad towards the end for me too Jamie so in was just playing about a lot with front wing and engine as I didn't wanna run out of fuel. I tried to keep engine in standard but had to turn it back up when I lost the lead but even tho it was faster it was very risky especially towards the end. Well done for pushing me so hard, it was really touch and go and I was sweating my box off literally. Thanks for the gr8 racing m8, a few little touches bit was all fair and never ment. Another mistake and you would have had me

race was pretty boring from my view, qualified 5th then got up to about 4th off the start and was having an ok scrap for a couple of laps for 3rd. was 4th when indrek cut T1 and had a tank slapper and i got hit as he recovered, then in T5 was alongside Indrek as we went through but he stayed left despite me being fully alongside at that point and really didnt have anywhere to go as i was up against the grass which then gave me a penalty for being put out on the grass, took the penalty immediately and was discouraged to race at that point, even letting justin through after his pitstop, pitted for options and took about a second and a half to 2 seconds out of him after that and he gifted me the 3rd by sliding off at T1.

Overall pretty boring race until the last 5 laps lol

Well, I'm not sure what exactly causes this, for the most part I think it's the connection, bad ping just then and there between us, or something like that.

You are baffling me with your tech speak marine!

Bill, make sure the dylithum crystals are configured correctly. If necessary offset some power via the transfer conduits from the aft latice matrix on the dry dock side. Reroute a negative pattern to stabilize the antimatter reaction plasma array assembly which should in turn funnel a stream from the opposite deuterium injector.

If that doesnt work, stop downloading your pr0n when racing :D

Provisional Results
We combined league 1 and 2 due to the numbers of racers.
Apologies if we failed to invite anyone, we were not sure where Dylan was.
The race featured a very high standard from the front runners. eg FigjamRACER was in P6 and at lap 9 on primes Jack Evans on options was 34 sec up the road! He and Karl appeared to fight hard all race long. Rising Legend and Chris Bell also put in strong performances. Mad Max would have been further up the road but for an apparently undeserved penalty.

There were a couple of concerns re overtakes and contact. Guys please ensure you are familiar with the RD rules and carry them close to your heart.
Provsional Results.
Pole-Jack Evans
Race
1-Karl Raper-xxxArloxx
2-Jack Evans-TheEvans7 (+4.8sec)
3-Rising Legend (+13.5)
4-Bellmonds570-Chris Bell (+37.6)
5-Mad Max 954 (+55.2)
6-Figjam Racer (+67.7)
7-The Hemps (+2 laps)
8-Rednecksniper (DNF)
9-Fullizu-JF Matte (DSQ)

Thanks all who raced it was a pleasure to be on the track with you.

I notice in your video of the starting grid im wearing primes, but I was defo on options - weird!

i 'started noticing this about a week ago in a few races at VALENCIA... let's see if it continues...

huh...???

aaaahhhhhhh, that explains it, thx so much paul for your simple to understand answer. it's so clear to me now, cheers m8!!
a couple of other points...
1. i did e'thing you said and it almost fixed the problem. i just had to tweak the flux capacitator, good as gold now :)
2. not sure what pr0n is but if it's half as good as the other stuff i download during races, i'm subscribing !!!!!! :)))

Id have to nick part of Lee's answer, consistency is key here and if todays race at Silverstone is anything to go by I have pace in the wet in normal racing conditions (unlike Monaco), im only 19 points off so i can certainly take second.

As it pertains to my Valencia win, I was defo lucky, if fuel wasnt such a problem there I wouldnt have been anywhere near the win or the podium for that matter and defo wouldnt have won if Lee was there, that guy is virtually bulletproof.

It was a pleasure Lee, its the race we should of had at Barca if it wasnt for the traffic being stupid, today was the only time ive seen a chink in your Vettel-like reliability and you still managed to win lool, ive said it before and will say it again, you sir are a genius!! i hope for me of the same next week

You got your wifi passworded? I hear marine likes to cruise around the paddock looking for unsecured wifi and leech bandwidth That's why when he isn't racing you always find him in McDonalds nursing a fillet of fish for hours with his laptop. He's been banned from a few for some left hand surfing incidents apparently.
