Still, it was fun. At least we know that when racing with RD folk, your gonna be racing with some of the best guys out there!My problem is consistency, because I'm fast enough, and can be bloody fast, but I've got to get myself dialed in to be able to be fast lap after lap, and learn to keep the errors at bay

I decided to qualify in primes. I thought that my time was good enough with them and would give me an advantage at the end of the race, pitting on to fresh options, however my plan went a tad wrong, I started the race with my options for some reason and wouldn't let me stay on my primes. Not sure of the rules regarding this, I didn't think that you were allowed to change tyres if you qualified in the top 10 or something. I was quite happy to do 20 or so laps in my primes, as I had just put a new set on in quali with only 2 laps wear on.

That was an epic first corner, I nearly hit Videal I think, although I was lucky and there was a space to the right, which I so obligingly took

What is going on with that downshift? I remember you catching me (I was in cruise) and thought better of staying in this mode for too long.

What also happened to ImpulsivePlr (Scott), I spent about 10 laps hunting you down from 40s or so to 5s then saw you in the gravel at the far end of the track (turn 5 after 2nd chicane), I was really looking forward to that battle. I think the gravel was 1 or 2 laps before you DNF'd it.

Sounds very tempting. Might do that someday! Not this summer though. Half august will start extending my house and in July my father in law will come over from Japan, will make some golf courses unsafe and travel thru Europe with him.

Australia is defenatly on my travel list!

As long as everyone is aware that if they have a crash or a spin to check their minimap for any cars about to pass. Wait until they've safely gone through before attempting to rejoin the track. A good example (sorry to pick on you Alan) would have been that little spin you had in Valencia that you see in my video that almost took us both out as you reversed out of the wall... I almost had to change my underwear, phew!

I use the Xbox 360 controller for Windows so I don't know much about the steering wheel side of things... but I haven't been round Melbourne for a long time and I'm a bit rusty myself. A good 5 or 6 seconds off what I know I can do.
