It's interesting to see how well you guys drive, hitting the apex in every corner, every lap almost 100% of the time. Also, hardly any signs of under or overstearing, you make it look so easy...
really nice driving, you done good. There you go.
really nice driving, you done good.
may i ask what mod you have for the steering wheel view? i'd love to get that and give it ago, looks very good. Thanks
If I put up the video of our sparring during the race, you will see we are exactly the same!
Paul Lock / devilsixpence / red bull - thanks.
Was gutted when no one was interested in Mondays brazil race so it was cancelled, hopefully this will get more interest!
It's one I did myself.I second that - I cant get online games to work with the look to apex mod! Let us know what mod you are using please.
Yes, that is the way to do it.Ah yes I remember you have to put the modded 'default' xml for your particular controller in actionmap and make sure you are using the preset in game, rather than a custom. Then if you need your buttons mapped differently, you have to edit the xml - is that right?
I currently use a custom setting, (clutch for brake, various button difference) so I have to redefine these in the modded actionmap xml for my wheel right? I did ask back along if anyone knew where the xml file for a 'custom' wheel setup was kept (as it makes sense I could just copy that portion into the modded default xml file) but I havent had any responses to that.
Download it here.

I've typed up a little readme.txt as you will have to make your own modifications in your controller's actionmap xml file .. have fun
Yes, that is the way to do it.
Don't ask me what axisname the clutch pedal is tho', ain't got a clue!
I read somewhere that it was thought to be encoded into one of your game's save files.Ok I wont! Haha. But I would have thought someone would have known where the mapping xml for a custom setup is stored, then it would just be a cut and paste job really!
Please let us know how you get on, sounds very interesting.Ah right, ok thanks for the info Brendon. Ill have a crack at it all later on.
