F1 2017 Modding Questions Thread

You can't. The only way to get transparent elements on your helmet is to edit the .xml-file in incardriver.erp to give you a model one of the AI use.
This brings up a slew of other issues though, but in short it really only works out okay when you can grab your teammate's (or would-be teammate's) helmet.
It's a shame really, because I LOVE the look of those Stilo helmets (It's the one I'd use if I was an F1 driver infact).

So, I exported Alonso's helmet
And I get this (Nvidia DDS Plugin):

Ok thanks. then I will have to paint the winglets. It's going to be a pain because in my photoshop cs2 i can't preview on 3d object. but well...

Hey thanks!

I have a problem with colors...once I export my paint file the blue color I'm using comes out much lighter. I'm using hex code 002655 and it comes out a dark electric blue instead of a navy blue. Any ideas folks?
You using standard RGB output in Photoshop?

This helmet isn't supposed to be blue... The reason is caused by the save file. I made a new save file and it was back to it's normal colors. Is there anything I can do to fix it or do I have to delete my save file?
