Here, mate. But unfortunately, the program convents only in 256x and with the format DXT1. I tried to convert from F1 2014, but it gives out artifacts. We need Petar help, who create this tools 10 years ago, lol
thanks mate. I do not use Photoshop, instead use Paint.net to edit DDS files so the outcome might be different.

bug. haha

it's not that easy man. its very difficult and takes time, but first you have to download blender and EGO PSSG editor.

in the PSSG editor, you will have to open "xx2_highLOD", and extract the model. in blender, you will import the .glb into the program, and so import the 3d model you have downloaded. i never uploaded another f1 model, just edited the original ones, so i dont know how to do evertyhing to import the model. but you will have to assign the "emmitors" (or emission, i dont remember) into the directions where have do be (the emission of front wing into the front wing of the 2022 car, etc)

and then you will have to edit the UV composition, where the texture is. i learn't all alone, so you will have to have basic blender knowledge.

How can I go about using a model from another mod? For example, I want to use Skyfall's McLaren (based on the Williams fw14b) and use that in the 1993 mod to replace the one that uses the Williams fw18 model.

Can I do this without changing the drivers and other stuff from the 1993 mod, or does it require some editing afterwards?

Guys, is there really no modification for a free camera anywhere? If it is not there, then it would be very useful. It's a shame when car accidents happen in the recording, we can only see our car.
Does anyone have any ideas how to implement this? I was thinking about cheat engine and cameras.xml (dynamic change values) , but the movement only happens in race mode, not in recording.

this would be very nice if its possible. but i don't know how to modify these files, and in the options there is no button to switch by drivers, so i don't know if its possible

If you search values from cameras.xml, you can move camera like what you want, but in replay camera doesnt changes (maybe i do something wrong?) + we need to create pointer in cheat engine, i dont know how. In online mode we have spectator ability, but i doubt in single racing it will work. The developers once said that the game out of sight of the player calculates bots as ordinary points on the map and cannot visually display them. But it would be cool to reproduce the moments at least in the visible places. In my opinion, this is the only working option at the moment.

Do you prefer licensed hardware?

  • Yes for me it is vital

  • Yes, but only if it's a manufacturer I like

  • Yes, but only if the price is right

  • No, a generic wheel is fine

  • No, I would be ok with a replica
