hey guys, how to edit the models of the cars in the game? i want to modify the safety-car model, but i don't know how to edit the 3d model, like @canois or @Smokey do. someone knows?

and i have another question, is possible to decrease the dirty air in the game? the overtaking without and with DRS is very complicated.

nah I've already done it although it looks ugly cuz there are no minimaps and photos HAHAHHAHAHA.

guys i used to play f1 2014 earlier and when i got a new lap i changed to f1 2020 and can run f1 2020 in 100 fps+.recently i tried to install f1 2014 to try out mods but the stock game is ony running at 1 to 2 fps.does anyone know whats the problem here? thank you]

probably your graphics driver? idk some games when you use the latest version of the graphics driver it will give you only 1-2 fps. or probably ur using win 11 cuz windows 11 is dogshit HAHAHAHA jus kidding

I am no pc expert tho Im saying this because I experienced something like this. Not in f1 games tho but in other games.

Try replace material.xml from other cars folder

my graphics drivers are upto date and i use windows 10. i really wanted to test out the new mods but cant do it since it ll take years to just load the menu. do you know is there anyway i can fix it? i use directx 12 if that is of any use

when I updated my graphics driver to the latest version, some games gave me 1-2fps only. when I went back to older versions my games are smooth again. So I guess maybe try to go back to the older versions? idk what graphics card are u using tho. I experienced this on Intel UHD Graphics. But maybe that can fix it. When it doesn't, you can always go back and install the latest version again tho.

you can always reinstall the latest version online (at the official intel website), so no worries about that. Your can roll back the graphics driver to its previous version at the device manager. (Device manager/Display Adapters/Your graphics Card Name/(right click)Properties/Driver/Roll Back Driver)

Again, I'm no pc expert but based from my experience, it worked. Some games aren't just compatible with the latest version. That's just really it. My fps in assetto corsa became worse too when I updated to the latest version of my driver. And other games in my pc like valorant gave me 1-2 fps.


Lemme know if it works for you and hope it helps!

btw my current graphics driver version is 26.20.100.7926 (Intel(R) UHD Graphics) and its giving me smooth gameplay rn.

If it doesn't, again, you can always reinstall the latest version online. And idk you might have to reinstall f1 2020 I guess.


Also one tip too is you can install Intel UHD Graphics Command Center so you can control and limit the GPU usage of some games. It can help you make your gameplay smoother and it can reduce the load of your graphics card.

Ofcourse, just try it for yourself, we have examples, just look at them and create what you want. Canois without any knowledge about Blender was able to make car mod. He had a wish, and he did. That's all.
