Misc F1 2012 Realism mod

okay so the tire scaling option has been removed for career mode what does is mean exactly is that just a addon mod or will it affect the AI tire wear?

Also can tire scaling be removed from the Quick Race mod version so I do not have to select a permanent specific race length and how would you do that?

Did a 25% race at Monza with Ferrari and I must say, this mod is very entertaining and nasty ! I enjoyed it alot already.

Just play the career version, it supports Quick Race mode too but just without tyre scaling!

database > track_fuel_distance > search for the % races you want to edit. For example if you made a 25% race a 10 laps race and you want to scale your fuel wear you have to do 10/25 = 0.4. Take every 25% race ID value and multiply it by 0.4. Thats all you have to do!

What "25% race ID value" i most change, i have 5/25= 0.2, so what values i most multiply with 0.2? the "l25percent" row?

The original value on this is 49,335, x 0.2 = 9.867, thats the right value?

I most multiply every value for 0.2?

Now contains a version for Career mode that works properly, it just doesnt include tyre wear. (This one also works for Quick Race without tyre wear)

Improved the recovery when the AI is off the track and improved the retiring of the AI. I also did some small adjustments according to the overtaking.

Demy,

Question about the career mode compatibility. When you say, "doesn't include tyre wear", do you mean the wear rate stays at 100% (i.e. as the game is designed) and does not change respective to race distance (as in your mod with Quick Races)?

I'm trying since few days your beta version of the 2.5 (by the way I don't see any link with downloadable version of 2.5), is it possible that there's an issue with Ricciardo and Vergne?

I mean, in Q3 they always make incredible fast times (for the records, I don't use fast forward during qualifies)

Or in other words delete database from SC folder. I have made folder called career 50% and inside I'm putting realism, SC, competitive braking and performance mod files. Database I put there is database from realism mod. Than I just install that folder as one mod. Hope this helped you.

Both safety car mod and realism mod have a "ai driver config"-file.Which one should I use?

I had to the replace the modded files with the original files for what ever car I used in the driver training. In the cars folder ...mc2 for mclaren ... Then replace the files in there. Then switch back after you complete the training.
