I'm new with dash studio and I don't know if this is normal, but time to time dash editor is stop responding and all SimHub is crashing.

Anyway, beautiful tool. I almost finish my own dash. Started as simple dash and step by step I'm adding new info. This is addicting

Hum I would be interested by the log files. I may have broken something. (Log files are available in the log folder of simhub) does it happens when doing something in particular ?

No, I wasn't doing anything special. Sometimes simply I was on other window and when I want to come, it never responded anymore. Other times I was playing my dash, testing it in a window as played the replay.

Here is the error I see in the log:

Code:

Hum, I will look this ;) I've tested it a lot for the next release but I use very few images in my sample dashs or things like that, so if there is a memory leak it is much slower to appear. I keep you in touch ;)

In my dash I have only 2 images, one for the background (184 KB) and one for the rpm bar (57KB), the rest of the items are from the editor itself

Hum ! Interresting ! I will stress test that and see.

I got also these kind of problems with people using a integrated GPU to run the dash, you you use your motherboard GPU ?

Wotever updated SimHub, DIY Sim racing Dash with a new update entry:

5.4.9 - Hotfix'n'goodies

Hi !

Little Hotfix,
  • Some texts were disappearing in some conditions on Web Dash engine when scaling.
  • System Info plugin new refresh data every second instead of two seconds
  • ETS2 : LightsDashboardOn now use parking light as data source, which is pretty accurate.
  • Simhub now starts by default as Admin (can be disabled in settings)
  • Simhub now opens automatically firewall for web access (simhub needs to run as admin)
  • Mobile access instructions are now embedded...

Read the rest of this update entry...

I can open it on my PC with no probs and it works in game, problem is I use 3 screens and display wont stay up in Assetto Corsa, that's why I want to use my phone, but I cant open it.
Does simhub have to be installed on my phone?

I've released an update which should make you the process more simple, it will open the window firewall by itself, just open the instructions and type the address or scan the QR Code on your phone.
