I have some good news.....

It works again!!!!!! I reinstalled PCars and now it's seeing it. I then tried Assetto (without reinstalling) and it see's that too. No idea why it's started seeing it again. The only thing I can think of is that once the software detected a game again it kicked it back into detecting them all.

I did just get the display stop working as soon as I came out of the pits though in Assetto. I've attached a log file to see if there's anything untoward.

Thanks Wotever for Simhub to allow me to combine 2 hobbies into 1.
Thanks also to amstudio for the construction video on YouTube.
Below is what I ended up with using 2 TM1638 modules and 1 8x8 LED matrix.

Hum looks like you have lot of customisations, can you send me your settings ? (plugins data folder) the log says that it's banning some wrong ncalc expressions (decorate your vars with isnull(xxx,0) like this if(isnull([DataCorePlugin.GameRawData.Graphics.Flags],'') == 'AC_BLACK_FLAG',3,0) to avoid it) but it should not kill the whole display.

Yeah I noticed that too. I used some that were uploaded by someone and did a bit of editing. I probably am using the wrong formula's. (I'm no good at that stuff!)

I'm just testing your stttings on AC (on a TM1638) and it works fine Oo

Ah ok. Yeah I can get mine to work now but after 5 minutes it just stops responding. The only way to get it back is to restart sim hub. It doesn't disconnect from windows either.

This makes me think that it's hardware related. I've disabled all the application plugins as I thought that might have been causing it.

I notice that when it fails it seems to press all the buttons on the tm1638

What serial chip does you have on your arduino ? (FTDI ...) looks like serial comm is unstable

Hum could you try the last version I've jsut published ? I've fixed a lot of small stuffs in it ... with a little hope it could fix it

That's crazy, nobody in two years had so much problems with a single tm1638 try on another computer first your problems with shared memory makes me think that there is something strange Oo

When you say "crash" simhub is exiting or just stuck display ?

The TM1638 stops working but is still connected to the PC. (Windows doesn't do the disconnect sound)

Simhub still works perfectly. I can see the displays working in the live preview.

Out of curiosity, when you go back on that page on sim hub should the devices be there straight away or is there a delay in them popping up? I've noticed that when going on the page it takes a second for the device to show.
