Database Editor 2.3.3

I cant open it, I get the error (see atachment).
I tried reinstalling pyton (Web/Windows Store), NodeJS but nothing worked what have I to do ?

Petty sure there’s a problem getting the mod to work if you’ve tried to recently, I had the mod working until 3 days ago because I deleted the programs and the files and followed the guide again but now me and my friend’s are getting the same error

What error are you talking about? Many people are already using the latest version, so, yes, it is working. What's the error "you and your friends" are all getting?

There HAS been an issue reported by many people that looks lke this:
× Encountered error while generating package metadata.
╰─> See above for output.

note: This is an issue with the package mentioned above, not pip.

But this is an issue related with Python and Pip, and NOT the editor. To be perfectly clear, I have NOT CHANGED any dependency in the editor, all the software that you need is the same version as in DBEditor previous to 2.3

Some people have fixed it going back to python 3.10.11, but again, I can't do anything about this because is not a consequence of any change that has been made in the editor. Have good day and I hope you can fix your issue

But I have a question, (take it with a laugh) how is it possible that with your editor you can change almost everything, but not the names of the people?
Can't you also insert this request?

What do you mean it cant? You absolutely can from the attributes tab!

Going back that version of python fixed the issue, thanks for your help

It seems I cannot make the custom engine to work, here is what I do:

1- Create engine
2- Go to Teams and allocate custom engine to my team.

Is there any step I have missed...? I have checked in the game at it always shows the previous engine stats and references, it does not show any stats nor any reference to the custom engine.
Any help is much appreciated, thank you kindly for this fantastic tool.

the mod is great, necessary to play F1M 2024 , but I have a polite request, PLEASE add an option to stop or weaken the development of DRS Effectiveness and Dirty Air Tolerance for AI and my team. The creators are deaf to this and the game is ridiculously stupid and unrealistic

yes, the races look more realistic, DRS in the game is so ridiculous that drivers make up for a 1 second difference in one DRS zone without any problems. (sometimes they even stay behind us on pre-pit stop tires) Unfortunately, the DRS and DAT nerifing works only 2-3 races, and then the AI development in this area is difficult to keep up with. I tested it twice in the datebase-editor, but clicking through it for each team is very tiring

how much do you usually nerf them? I want to test this out and if it really works, it will be 100% impmemented in the next update

both times i downgraded to 10 % Chassis and rear wing - "DRS Delta", and as far i remeber all "Airflow" stats also downgraded to 10%

Can someone help me please.

i found the reason why i could not start the editor, it was the Python version.

So now the editor runs.

but everytime i save the new dificult lvl of the savegame... and i start the editor again, this setting is back on default

what i am doing wrong?

This is because you modified the save with other software that is not the editor, so some data has to be missing in some table. And, that data that is missing (probably smth ralated to mentality), was not used in previous versions of the editor. But now that is used, makes the editor crash, as the data is missing

Wat does the fit latest designs do exactly? Is it just for comparing in he performance tab or does it actually put the latest designs on all the cars in the game regardless whether they have enough of them in stock or not?

By the way I noticed that in the standings tab in China some drivers have the same qualifying position. Not sure of this has something to do with the fact that its a sprint weekend.

Used to work great but right now after every race my game crashes whenever i click continue. When i deleted Python, Git and Node the game didn't crash. But when re-installed, the race after that i had the same issue again.
