Non-two tone paint schemes were rare, and the Inca Gold color is even rarer.

To homologate the CLK-GTR for racing Mercedes had to build 25 street cars (Strassenversion); 26 were built, of which only 6 were roadsters. Powered by a 610hp V-12 the roadster could top 200mph yet could be comfortably driven around town ...though no one is driving them, the last two auctioned had less than 100 miles on them.

Had a 2002Tii in mid-eighties. Great little car, drove like it was on rails; though due to those tiny 13" wheels my friends kidded me that it used golf cart tires. Ignition switch died and local dealer wanted $350 to replace it; bought a replacement for $50 then discovered it took a special five sided deep well socket to install ...BMW would sell me one for $130, lol. So I took one of those chrome brackets for installing gauges under the dash, mounted it below the original switch, and used a couple of large washers to mount the new switch there and plugged it in. Drove the car like that for three years before selling it.

McLaren F1 GTR street version; most GTRs have been converted back to street cars anyway, since they were originally built as street cars (due to BPR regulations the racing version actually had less hp, though it was also considerably lighter).
