I'm good whichever way we go. The normal club racing style, with some V8 events thrown into the mix, sounds good, but that wouldn't stop me from joining a formal league. Preferably with V8s... :dance2:

Oh, by the way, Cam-

F30000? Is that F3000, but, like, 10 times better???

:D

yes, it the new GP20 cars... keep up with the times mate ;)

How about we do a V8 race on the weekend before the real life 2009 events on the same track, or the closest match to it, and then the other weekends use the SimBin cars...?!?

P.S. there will hopefully be a v1.5 of the FVRV8's out by the season opener with full 2009 skins and cars (all new Holden and Ford 3D models and new models)

*Drools with anticipation* :eat:

Warren, ....., if you'd like the Viper, consider it a deal. :thumb:

Ok Rhys, it's a deal. You now have the C5 and I have the Viper.

Loool, at some point I will have temporarily had every car available. :laugh2:

I'm staying with the Viper now, it's mine, so you can all fight among yourselves for the rest. :laugh2::laugh2::laugh2:

It's going to be hard to find anything that even closely resembles Bathurst. Someone has to get their finger out by October. :rotfl:

The way I see it, Macau's sorta close to Bathurst in terms of corner combinations and speed. Walls everywhere too, just like Bathurst. The only hurdle is that Macau's a proper street circuit... :laugh2:

Some good ideas! I like the idea of mixing up the makes between rounds, but in other ways it's fun to take a car and make it work on a variety of tracks. The V8s are awesome but by having a series with only two models of car you lose the novelty of having cars with different strengths/weaknesses at different tracks or even different sectors of tracks...

Sounds like we're slowly hammering a team into shape

Any interest in having a dry run at some point so that we can get used to our respective cars and share setup tips etc?

Oh, and based on the proposed dates I won't be around for the final round unfortunately, all good for Spa and Monza though.

I have that organised Chris. A server will be setup up soon with a loooong qualify session to best simulate race grip and conditions. I am hoping we can come to an agreement so that we can practice together at some point soon. Teamspeak would be really useful too...

Just bumping this again to the top, since we are getting close to practice time..
Latest car selections, time to start finalising cars I think. We should decide after the first practice session, but hopefully everyone can run some practice off-line to decide.

Our final car skins will be ready soon, Tyson is working on the banners windows now.

BTW, we still need a few reserves, with some people missing some races.

We are hoping to have our new server up and running this week over at MHdz, once its up and running i will be putting up a few practice sessions that anyone competing can join in on. room will have an independent name probly OECC (Oceana Endurance Club Championship). We are also looking at a new web page (no forum) that will have race reports posted on events along with replay and skin packs, also with links to all competing clubs.
