Proposed Season

Hi all,

Warren and I put our heads together a while back to come up with a season that was going to be using the more formal gpcos season.

My role will be to get it all into gpcos and to maintain it etc.

As an example, one season may have looked like:

F30000 @ Melbourne
MINI @ Brands Hatch
WTCC 06,07 @ Macau
WTCC 87 @ Warwick Farm
GT Pro @ Roadone
GT Club @ Mid Ohio
GT Sport @ Brno
Radical @ Manfield
Cats @ Mallala
FBMW @ Istanbul

As you can see, this was done pre-V8's.

So here is my question to you...

Would you like to see a full seperate V8 formal season (league) or V8 events mixed into something similar to the above mixed class season?

Post your thoughts...

...

i reckon we could base our season around touring cars ,
vbangers
wtcc 87
wtcc 07/stcc(i think someone mentioned s2000 cars )
on a rotation basis ,eg every 3rd week we would be running the vbangers (v8s)
these are my thoughts on the subject
regards
olly

I have tested the Corvette C5R (very briefly) and I'm happy to drive it since noone else wants it.
I've already modified the car selection post. So the Aston is available for you again Cam if you want it.

I don't see anyone screaming for the Lister, lol

I did some testing around Anderstorp and while i'm over a second quicker in the Corvetter C6R, the listers not bad for me compared to the rest. Just damn twitchy.

Oh, and before I forget, I'm happy to give up the Viper to anyone who wants it, and trade cars. All you have to do is ask. :thumb:

Rhys, I seem to be continually swapping, but mainly to allow others to choose a car they are comfortable with. I don't really care what I drive.
If you really want out of the Viper, we can swap, at least I have some experience with the Viper from my GT Club racing. It does take some getting used to. If you'd prefer the C5 Corvette, then we can swap. I'm easy though.

EDIT: Rhys, I just took the Viper for a few laps around Monza and rather liked it, I felt pretty comfy with it because it seemed pretty similar to the GTC Viper I have been driving in the League. I'd actually be more than happy to swap. :)

Warren, I never said I "wanted out" of the car (in fact I'm quite comfy in it myself :D), but if you want the Viper then take it. :)

I'm sure I can race well in the C5. Again, if you'd like the Viper, consider it a deal. :thumb:
