To be clear about it. If you're not used to manually operating a clutch, you'll be faster with automatic clutch. no doubt about it. But you'll be faster against yourself , that should be clear.

If you know how to manually operate a clutch properly, potentially you'll be faster than yourself using automatic clutch.

The above though doesn't mean that if I'm not that good of a driver, I'll be faster using the clutch manually against another a bit better driver that uses the automatic clutch.

Point is, it's just an insignificant tad faster to use the clutch, but first you've got to bloody know how to drive ! :D

will you guys have a booster pack for me? im really slow and sluggish i think i may need one! :p

Please , Please, don't do like rFactor 1&2, their gearbox SUCKS so much.
In ALL cars, you can use H-Shifter or sequential, and you don't have to clutch to gear up/down.

hint hint

wow the 86 Lotus-with-the-mostest. Here's the other JPS driver at Adelaide, with much lower boost in race trim than senna's awesome qly lap. Best thing is the 6 to 4 to 2 and 1 downshift. The short rev range married with the huge turbo lag and small power band make for a beast.

I never tryed to learn the clutch too Senad cause when it comes to "hotlapping" etc noone uses it so i followed the same way but now if this will happen,we will drive more reaslistic like the real drivers and of course it will be harder but challenging!
Me too :( . Just use if for braking or drifting (to reduce engine braking, depending on the car) . But the point is as you said, once it's worth using it, it's worth it.

Oh and... you do remember when I was saying that driving in Assetto Corsa is easy with whatever car?
Well yeah, screw that :p
 That's the main point IMHO. Unlike what some other devs do if you build cars accurate, they are neither more forgiving / progressive nor "easier" to handle then their real counterpart. It's all about the learning curve and how the car "communicates" its behaviour. I hope AC does that through FFB, sound and basically everything else :) . If you make it forcefully "easier" then people just push more and more because you never know when the car is on the edge of its performance.
