By replacing the steering rack etc, yes.my question is...
can you change steering lock in real life on a car ? road or race cars...

Will Assetto Corsa be able to automaticly change ABS to 'ON' or 'OFF' basing on car you are driving?
I would like to have ABS in 458 Italia and Exige S but no ABS in old Lotus F1 car or old BMW.
Without changing it all the time in options menu from ON to OFF and from OFF to ON for every single car.
You know something like 'Like in the reality' ABS option.
Reason i love Ferrari so much is even though the car is basically designed in windtunnels they look absolutely gorgeous.
It´s a wonderful blend of art and pure science whereas other manufacturers seem to stick to science only.
I can sometimes find Porsches and Mclaren´s to be a little bit "dead" whereas Ferrari feels alive and sounds alive. Hard to explain.
I would say Porsche and Mclaren MP4 - Prost.
Ferrari - Senna

But now a little more serious thing - Aris there's a thing that is always omitted in ALL driving/racing games/sims. The ABS. Or lack of it.

Many thanks for this great update and Merry Christmas for all @ KS!
Agreed, it would make life a lot easier if the settings adjusted for each car automatically. Same for steering lock.
On the same topic, it would be nice to have an automatic switch between paddle and "H"-grid shifters based on the real car.
Anyone got a idea what this means ?@KunosStefano
and now, while the world sleeps, I'll hack away the full integration to the new physics middleware... as crazy as it gets chaps.
@KunosStefano
Aristotelis is a genius.. just came up with an amazing idea to make the whole drivetrain more alive and realistic.
@Aristotelis
I'm a genius I just broke the whole thing! lol! “@KunosStefano: Aristotelis is a genius…”
remember that the G25 has both sequential and H pattern, I would like to set the controller for a specific car using the Sequential shifter and not the paddle shifter. i know that's not much to ask but it's important though
thanks!
Yeah, but then does the wheel go normally beyond that or is their a lockage like when you limit the rotation ?In NetkarPRO, if the car has a steering lock of 450 degrees and say the wheel is setup to 900, all input beyond 450 degrees will have no effect. The wheel stays stuck at 225 in each direction and if you turn your wheel beyond that, the front wheels won't turn any more.
