It's nice to see some Ferrari's in AC but they really did put the bar really high yesterday in terms of expectations from the fans. I cannot say I am not disappointed.

About the only way the hype would have been justified would have been to announce all five cars and the 'ring. I guess we will still get little tidbits of info here and there in the next few months and each will be more hyped than the one before it, seems thats just the way it is nowadays. It doesn't help that for three months we thought we would have some sort of playable tech demo and now even that is months away. I hope I don't come across sounding like a spoiled child (I sorta feel that way) but frankly the waiting, along with the teases, is becoming unbearable.
You know, I'm not really a Ferrari fan, but I don't see reason to be disappointed by this news, as Marco80 said, Ferrari is a HUGE brand that makes anything with it's name become known and consequently sell like water, that alone makes it be a great news. 
Also gotta love that they finally made an INGAME video instead of filming it off screen. I take back any nitpicking about graphics, it looked great.

I think I'm going to go drive the 458 at Mugello in FVA and tell myself its the tech demo preview thing.
Driving that car alone is still a more satisfying sim experience that damn near anything else out there.

After my experience with the bugged and under developed pCARS builds, I certainly don't want to play any game that feels "unfinished" on release, by that I mean, bugged, untested and with half baked features. So Kunos, take your time and release something to be proud of, don't listen to people wanting you guys to rush it out.

Aahhh nice... now I can talk a little bit.
I've told you it was big, didn't I. I must say Marco our project and licensing manager really did a miracle with this... even though I still work on the cars it still hasn't land on me yet, I'm just starting to realise how big this is by all the comments and noise that generates. Good or bad doesn't really matter, it's normal that such a thing polarises people and besides you can't make everybody happy.
Ok let's talk video and car maybe?
As usual, video is ingame footage, grabbed with an external video capture card. No filters or whatsoever have been applied on the videos as usual and all the movement and camera views are normal ingame camera views. The drift sequence was a bit tricky, that turn is too fast to be taken in 2nd gear which is a good gear to drift and too slow to drift in 3rd gear which isn't a good gear to drift hehe... but a couple (ok make that 10) of tries gave the needed results.
Car itself is amazingly powerful, but "street" tyres start to show their limits. The damn thing accelerates and reaches top speeds on straights that are 10-20km/h higher than say a BMW Z4 GT3 which is a race car! But then you have to stop it in time and you need to remember that you have far less downforce and street tyres, so you better start braking early. You also need to be a bit gently on the throttle even in 4th gear if you don't use any traction control. So much power with so little inertia on the engine.
Well it's been a very long 48hours day so I hope you guys like it, now back to work on what it matters most.

Is fully functioning arm movements. In the other videos we have seen arms stop at an angle but the wheel continues however when looking at the 458 drifting you can see him moving his hands over each other.
