Seems like we'll get SPA :)
The thing is that spring is almost over and every time I start Tech Preview I can see that AC will be released Spring 2013. I think we deserve a real NEWS, not just another hint, screen or movie.

I don't think we will see AC released until probably something like Q4 of 2013, and even then I think there is a chance it may slip to 2014, perhaps. There is zero chance of Q2 (obviously), and if they are installing as many features as I hear, then Q3 is probably optimistic too.

it's the constant new licenses and "to be added to v1.0" that gets me thinking we wont see this Sim until next year, their recent lack of straight forward answers leads me to believe that it's not gonna be released anytime soon.

On the positive side I think kunos have probably nailed the physics and any delay is likely to add content rather than to fix glaring issues in the physics and tire model. For example the TD looks fairly solid , what was shown at games-com also looked good and the Ferrari simulator using AC engine also looked fairly decent on the face of it.

Where as Pcars and RF2 still seem to have very large holes in the physics with very hit and miss content.

So when AC does come out its likely it will be a very shiny rounded product rather than something you have to hope over the next 2 years will be ironed.

I don't think Kunos want to really give a date , or say anything now other than show of content or screen shots of stuff that's done because they know its easy to end up missing a release date and they don't want people to latch onto things in the wrong way.

And who can blame them? What major developer hasn't missed a milestone deadline in the last two years?

As always, 'released when ready' is better than 'broken now'.

To everybody waiting, you should all just hop on for some laps in NetKar Pro. :D

You can find people for pickup racing at:

Regarding the release date, I don't expect release to happen within 6 months of an announcement. And the fact that the last release date of Spring 2013 has come and gone without any comment about it, I do not see it coming out until at least November. Just my guess.

Compare the mirrors. I'm disappointed Kunos that's not like a sim should be. ...
no parts of the car and three times the same picture thats really really sad.

You do have a point (also the complete road in the mirrors is not perfect either, looks like the "angle" is not implemented) but without sounding rude, this is the wrong thread for something like that and it is only a techdemo.

Marco posted this today on his facebook:

"I like this video, and..well, we already got the car, so...."
sooo....maybe? :)

Spa would be one of the most iconic and best tracks to get in AC, after they posted "the most beautiful corner" post on the AC Facebook it was clear that it means something (at least to me :roflmao:), I don't think they would post that without reason on the official AC Facebook  I think they posted such a cryptic thing before and later announced something or am I wrong (couldn't find it though...)?

In other news :), someone posted this on the iRacing forum... I don't think we have seen Silverstone on these simulators yet... and a little flip running over a kerb :roflmao:
