AMS Time Trial of the Week

Post times, share setups and tips, fill up some leaderboards!

The Time Trial feature on AMS allows users to post times at any tracks and compare it to other drivers around the world. The setups thread for AMS is quite bare, and hopefully if this takes off we can start posting the winning setups there to improve the game for all users.

How does this work?
Choose the selected car of the week in the Main Menu. Click on Time Trial and load up the track of the week. Once in, feel free to play around with the setups as much as you like and post some laptimes. The scoreboard in game will automatically update. When you are done, post here your laptime, and either share your setup and tips, or ask for help.

To start off, we will only use Reiza default cars and tracks, but we may move into mods in the future.

Pretty please. Just tried this combo as it's about to be used for a club event. It's unbelievable fun, and I'd love to see how far the pace can be pushed.

I drove the whole lap in 4th gear

i got 1.03.147
... Ok i need to go and try gaugo's setup and " style"

Edit: Now i got about 0,600 from Gaugo and I'm happy with that at the moment. After this, a better lap for me is 80% about the first and only braking zone , i think.

Managed a 1:02:5 although the optimal lap time for the run was 1:02.1 so in theory at least there is some more laptime for me to find. Probably a good thing to run the Vee now as I think when the Formula Trainer is fully released the usage of the Vee will probably drop off.

Did a couple of laps trying to learn the track, keeping the ambulance crew busy so far.

Wow, now I saw that I have done few laps with this combo and I'm the last one.

I'll try to improve this time. I'm working too much lately, don't have much time for the sims.

I think this is one of the hardest combo's in the game (the same car at a street circuit is probably the only harder one for me) so well done for having a go. If you have the time for a few more laps it does get a little bit easier with more experience.

Reiza have a weekly time trial on their Twitter feed now but I couldn't find a thread for it on their forums which seems a bit odd. This week's combination is Caterham 620R at Brands Indy which is a combination a lot of people here have run already.
