This mod is composed of a Base and a Layer. You need both in order to have the full mod.

LAYER MOD INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS (STEAM) - Thanks to @Paxon

1. Go to the MM Community Hub in your steam client.

2. Go to the workshop.

3. Search the workshop for "enzoli".

4. Find the "Layer" mod and click it.

5. Click on the subscribe button.

6. Make sure the mod is active in your in-game workshop.

You're done.

You can proceed the same way for my other mods you found on step 4.

BASE MOD INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS (WINDOWS)

1. Download PART1 and PART2 on your computer. Both parts are necessary.
2. Right-click MM 2016 Mod 1.x.x.part1.rar and uncompress it.
3. Part 2 will be uncompressed automatically. You should now have a folder MM_Data with the installer right next to it.
4. Launch the installer and follow instructions.

If the installer does not work for you, simply copy/paste the MM_Data folder into your Motorsport Manager folder.

BASE MOD INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS (MAC) - Thanks to Mr Peugeot and Alon2o

1. • Download PART1 and PART2. Both parts are necessary.
     
   • Create a folder anywhere and put both mod files in this new folder
     
   • Open Part_1 of the .rar file with an extractor (I use The Unarchiver but I’m assuming any upzip program will work)
     
   • Don’t worry about Part_2. The extractor will have included that without you seeing it.
     
   • You will get a folder called MM_Data.
     
   • Open finder
     
   • Command + Shift + G
     
   • Library / Application Support
     
   • Click on go
     
   • Steam
     
   • /Steamapp
     
   • /Common
     
   • /Motorsport Manager
     
   • Right click
     
   • View the contents of the package
     
   • Home
     
   • Resources
     
   • Data
     
   • Replace the resource.assets file with the one in the MM_Data you obtain in step 5.
     
   • Open StreamingAssets folder
     
   • (Download and in data)
     
   • Then replace only the Champ1.bk2 files
     
   • Champ2.bk2
     
   • Champ3.bk2
     
   • And replace the TeamIntroMovies folder

- After I installed the mod, the drivers, teams and staff are fake and all logos are original ones.
You didn't activate the mod "layer" on the Workshop. Please do so as stated above.
- My game crashes during or after launch / I get a black screen then nothing.
Make sure you run the last version of the game on steam.
Go to Steam then right click on Motorsport Manager>Properties>Local Files>Verify integrity of game cache. This will synchronize your game to server version which is always the last version available.
- I don't see the car liveries. Rest is working fine.
Liveries do not work in 2d Mode. Turn on 3d mode.
- How can I change logos/team names/... myself?
Download Unity Assets Bundle Extractor and open resources.assets with it. Extract textures or textassets with the "plugin" button on the left. Modify things and import file back using the same "plugin" button.
Logos are in logos1@1080. Practice and Quali Times are in simulationsettings.

Is this just a Mac issue for the livery selection?

That's happening because I made F1 liveries available for GP2 but t was a bad idea since chassis aren't the same and liveries are stretched. I'll change it back.

Hmm I think I may have found the issue, once I have replaced the files in the asset bundle and then try and save, I get a warning saying 'Cannot open the file for writing!' What do I do about that?

You cannot overwrite the file you're currently editing.
You have to save you file somewhere else then move it on you mm data folder once the Asset Bundle Extractor is closed.

I started 3 seasons with different MacBooks.

Enzoli, you are risking to waste this mode by your stubbornness regarding peak age.

In every game started, alonso, hamilton and rosberg retire qt the end of the season. They don't even negotiate contracts. ditto for button and mass, albeit they already retired.

what i am saying is its impossible to play this mode if lewis and nico and vettel etc all retire in 1 year. This is the games mistake i guess but the peak age stuff has to increase, because why play through a season when you know all the top dogs will retire momentarily.


the rest is awesome, nice job with the free designers especially.

I hope you fix this retirement issue man.

was just thinking...i guess it´s possible to switch races from short to long in game - preferences. Even during season... but haven´t tryed yet ...as far as latest edition of mod 1.02, which i´m playing now..... after 4 races, i have 4 solid sponsors EMC2,Kingfisher,Silannna and terra something. So, it´s far from bad and team can produce parts without problems. 500.000 per race income is not tough cookie...since we can run for podium places allready in second or third race. So...i was wrong, game is not much harder in longer distance. Tyres last longer and you have more issues with flat spots, but AI is still very beatable even with bottom ranged car, and that´s a bit of a shame. Not sure how to speed AI or what to change that... let´s say with worst car you can come first season some mid pack at very most...i mean....in a way how Sauber is happy if outscore Manor

Well, I think part of the game settings will have to be edited in the Assembly-CSharp.dll like someone said it on the forums somewhere.
And don't forget TheFlamingRed work can be imported in mods.
He's been doing some research and made the game harder.

Apparently it's Japanese but you're right, it doesn't look to much Japanese.
I don't remember where did I see it. I know they're based in the UK, like many other teams though, but I saw somewhere the owners are actually Japanese.

i love the changes you made to sponsors. i guess the tweaks you did in your latest version will make the game even harder. in my latest test-save in GP2 i choose some spanish team and boy was it tough to even make little progress... no money more problems

You need both files in same folder. then select first and unzip it. The second will be detected automatically.
If by Slash screens, you mean the intro videos at beginning of career, then no, I won't replace them.
Since it only shows up at the beginning of the game, It's a lot of work for small retrun.
Besides this, I personally disabled all videos as they're slowing loading time.
