They make the cars so safe now. C'mon, if you spin it and hit a wall, just pit and get a new wing. I'd like a full wet qaulifying as it would be a real test of driver skill.

It was clearly the light which was the problem not the water.. Come on lads.. I've been up since 3 o' clock and I'm not dissapointed.. Q1 was amazing and I'm sure Q2 and Q3 tonight and the race tomorrow morning will be even better.. just be glad that F1 is back...

You guys need to relax, it's not as if they cancelled everything. They will still hold Q2 and Q3 tomorrow. Yes, they have been preparing for months, but a couple of more hours isn't going to hurt.

It's not that it isn't raining, it's all the standing water that's throughout all the track. Even the best drivers can't control their cars when they aquaplane.

By the time they would have cleared the water more rain would've fallen and just have refilled the puddles they just cleared out.

Thats the same weird argument they used during that Asian race where they finished with half points.

If the cars are aquaplanning the drivers need to lift off the throttle because they are going too fast. Racing is besides having big balls also about car control and skills.

Rain guru's like Senna would say "YOLO" and set a blistering lap even with 3 feet of snow on the track.

Bit annoyed as far as how Race Control don't like rain. Saying that it was about time to shut it down, not long till sunset and its already well dark.

Not too early, for those in Western Aus.

'Twas indeed. Massa had one hell of a front nose impact, probably quite shocked as he noticed the car was still running.

Rosberg was right on it aswell, good to see him really enjoying the conditions.
