Just like to say great race one with Sykvain Mirlaud and his fair driving :) also great race with Ricky Willox, good race all.

Race two just like to say Victor Shaw you need to just think before the bend!! but apart from that good race all again:)

thanks group 8

Group 8

First of all both races were good fun and clean as far as i know.

For me first race qualified P.5.
Third lap od race one i got collected by a spinning alfa at turn one and knocked off the track. No ones fault just one of those things. Re joined in P.11. Managed to finish in P.8.

So race two im on pole thorugh no skill of my own :)
On the first lap I was passed by a seat not sure who (which went on to win the race) when i ran wide at a corner again not sure which one. From then on it was a battle to keep 2nd place, Raymond Tsang was on my bumper and passed me at turn one where he was much faster than I was. Think tyre wear was affecting Raymond and i managed to get back into P.2 when he ran wide then again he would pass me at turn one. This went on for most of the race. Eventually finished in P.2.

All in all was a lot of fun racing with people around the same speed. It meant you were actually racing and not worrying about the faster guys comming up to lap you.

Thank you to everyone involved in organising this.

Cheers
Ricky

7th in 1st race ,setup good ltr on but 2 late

Group 6
Well in qualification I managed an 4º place 2 05 127 in the 1st race I think I made a good race always 1.5 sec behind Fernando but at 3 laps to the end my tires just gone so I stay in 3rd with a big gap from the 2nd in 2nd race I changet the setup a little and if it wasn´t for some touchs I think I could get 4th but a hit put me on last but with a good race I reach P8
For me this races were a blast just pity that they dont count for nothing but is good to race with sunday drivers :)

Group 5

That was amazing fun - possibly the best races i have ever had!

Qualy: Not too bad with a 2:05.xxx which put me in 3rd.

Race 1: Got a great start thanks to the BMW's rear wheel drive and had the lead into the first corner. Made it round easy but then going into the 4 apex turn 8 Vianney Ng got a twitch and i shat myself and swerved out wide so i wouldn't hit him. It was a stupid move on my part as i lost about 5 places by doing so, and i wouldn't have hit him anyway. I pulled myself back up the field using the BMW's great braking potential to my advantage. After a few laps i caught up with Ben Tusting who i had a great battle with for a few laps. Again making good use of the BMW's brakes i managed to get ahead and pulled away for the next few laps. I tried to catch up with Vianney Ng who had pulled about a 4.5 second lead over the rest of the field. I couldn't match his pace so i ended up having to settle for second. Great racing by everyone - on the most part (from what i saw) it was all very clean.

Race 2: Now, if there could be a race any more different from race 1 this was it. I started in 7th due to the top 8 grid reversal and once again capitalized on the BMW's rear wheel drive as i was able to get into 3rd by the first corner. I tried to give everyone enough room - it was tight but i think i managed it. Coming into the left hander at the top of the hill (turn 3) i tapped one of the lacetti's - i think it was Julio Daniel Rosario. Sorry about the tap but i really couldn't avoid it, i stamped on the brakes but that wasn't enough. I ran out wide and dropped back a couple of places to make sure i did not gain any advantage out of the tap. I got going again and followed Cheung Ting Pong and passed him going into turn 9 braking late down the inside. I started to catch the cars infront down the back straight as i had got a good run out of the previous corner. However this is where all hell broke loose. I saw Ben Tusting go sideways at 140 due to a tap just before the braking zone, but i kept concentrating and braked late in order to defend my position. All i heard next was a sound like a bomb had gone off. It appeard that one of the cars behind, possibly Julio Daniel Rosario had missed their braking point and had hit a few of us, including me just behind the left rear wheel. I spun around and stalled the car along with lots of other people trying to get back onto the track. I started the car back up and rejoined in 7th place with Vianney Ng behind. I drove some quick laps and pushed the car hard in order to try and catch back up with the cars infront. I managed to catch up with Ben who had a slow car after the melee at the end of the back straight. He left a gap down the inside so i outbraked him down the inside. I then drove some quick laps and overtook some more cars until i was in 3rd. Hansi Josefsson went off which meant i could catch him up quite quickly. I then drove behind him for a lap or 2 until he went wide in the last 3 corners. I got a great run down the straight and overtook him before we got to the first corner. I then had 3 laps to try and catch Cheung Ting Pong who had led most of the race. I caught enough lap by lap and was about 2.3 seconds behind going onto the final lap. Cheung started to make a few mistakes which let me catch up and i was able to put him under a lot of pressure causing him to watch his mirrors and run wide on a few corners. Going down the back straight i had a great run on him and got into the slipsteam. I thought about an outbraking move down the inside, but last time i tried this for the lead i ended up having a shunt. I braked at my normal point and Cheung ran a bit wide so i got past into the right hander. I then just kept a tight line around the final left and got a good run down the straight to take the win. For this race i had run with 8 laps of fuel instead of 10 as i had in the first race which seemed to help keep some pace in the car near the end of the race. Due to my win in the second race, and my second place in the first race i took the overall win.

Overall it was very good fun racing. Some close battles throughout, espeically with Ben. Only thing that was a shame was that Race 2 was a bit of an accident fest... but that said, i think we all had some type of accident in that race, so im not naming names :)

Qual:3rd Finish:2nd Finish:5th

Happy with 3rd to start and got just enough of a leap on Vincent off the line to take 2nd into T1,i then noticed i had some good early race pace and put pressure on Andreas and it eventually payed off giving me the lead, then my sudden and early tyre wear comes in to play and i cant hold the lead,2nd place is all that is possible.
Start from 7th race2 and it goes well for me getting some places after T1 with some bunching and rubbing going on amongst the guys ahead, then i get gifted more places with other getting in a tangle, then a intense battle for the lead running down to the final chicane complex me and BMW pass the leader together,me on the right and BMW goes to the leaders left side,as i start to brake the BMW has now moved sharply over to the right for a better entry line to the final chicane first left hander, the smallest touch on my car unsettles it enough to make me go straight on and recover back on in 5th,had some great racing with Clive, but my tyres at the end are almost undriveable,at the quad left turn i scrub wide and slow,Clive makes a nice clean pass and holds it together to the finish.
Overall 2 good races, maybe some slight signs of over enthusiasm, which is to be expected at the beginning of such a huge series, but overall the majority of the grid were out for good proper clean racing :thumb:.

I think when it comes to sunday racing it should at least start about 2-3h earlier. For most of us it was 22-23pm and next day is monday. There was lot of non fair play going one:angel:,mostly beacouse its hard to concentreat when You know that You have to get up early and go to work next day...Please rethink that.mayby littel earlier would be better for (most of us).see u on track

A few questions

sorry if these questions are answered before.

Can I choose each event which car I want to use?
Or do I have to choose the same car for the whole season?
And where can I find the singledriver skin?

There was 11 people raced in the group 8 server, I was one of them. Are you sure you got the times right as we are in daylight savings also server 8 was being held up by one person before the official practice was on as they wouldnt vote it round to practice.
