Am I allowed to participate today? I'd like to, but I understand of course in case it's not possible.

i wish simbin would ad a 26 spot joineable only from a sever client to provide some grand stands
this way the race server will be lag free if someone joins the spec server and no race spot would be taken

There are skin issues some times, so relax a bit insted of do something like attacking us for it...

Bram, no probs mate, I didn't know that I was using up on slot. Next time all I need to do is to make sure I qualify in the same group as Greger, Dom, Atti etc. Easy!

Guys, in the hours before a race event, if the session reaches Race 1, then for god's sake

VOTE BACK TO PRACTICE!

Otherwise people can't join! There is nothing more frustrating than sitting at the lobby screen seeing one person in a server during a race session, leaving you unable to join for nearly an hour at worst!

Try moving all of the RD_* folders so that they're just in the CustomSkins folder (as opposed to Customskins\Race Department 08\RD_*.

Lower your tone a bit dude, there isnt always 24/7 an admin around to fix stuff instantly. We are running this as a hobby as good as we can, but sometimes you just have to wait and be patient..

Update: all servers reset to practice session

Well, my system locked up just before the end of quali, had to reboot and when I tried to join again it was switched to race while I was loading I think. Ah well, don't like Istanbul park anyway...

folks, I guess we gotta rethink the whole non-qualifiers event. In grid 7, 12 guys showed up, 10 made it to the first grid, 9 to the second, after 3 laps I dropped out because I had trouble keeping awake. At that point, there were six cars still running.

How about this: All the guys who did not qualify are divided into two groups: top fifty, lower fifty. Two servers #5/#6, top fifty who bother to show up take #5, bottom 50 who bother to show up take #6.

Personally, I had such a busy day today (wife's birthday ), racing at 23.00 was not going to be good - and it wasn't ...
thx to all the guys who showed up, thx to racedepartment for the organization.

Qualif- 2º - (2 04 962)

Race 1 - 1º (Great depart and lead 10 laps)

Race 2 - 6º (few pb in begin litles touch but lose time, only 6º)

Not bad shame absent.

We'll have a full review after the first round.
If the interest is low or people treat it like a joke, then we'll look at deleting it.

We can't organise an event with double booked servers expecting only half to turn up.
