where are groups

Hi.can You let me know where i can find non qualifiers groups.I want to check wich group im in?Cant find it anywhere.
Thanks.Jacek Kozlowski

I am very disappointed, because I was waiting very much this League. But some guys need to learn about fair driving. This was not a competition, its wreck derby. In race1, last corner, i lost 4 places, from 7 to 11. TY for that Kevin. And thanks to Ludwig Ghidi for unfair blockings. He plays that many times. and and and... I wont practise a lot of hours to get knoced out in the race. I do not miss this, so i exit from tournament.

Gio! You still havent learned to shut up for 24 hours!!!! Read the league rules before you post! You can file an incident report 24 hours after the race. We don't do it on the forum in all the heat after the race

Round 1 - Istanbul

Due to people being absent I got into the last position in G4 :D Awesome!

Quallied in 16th I think with 2.04.8xx. Not super happy with the time but felt pretty happy with the position.

Got an nice start and was around the same place as I started. Quite many hit each other in the first turns and I gained some places. Then in the last corner section there was chaos and I hit the cars that and spun, losing som places. Was then around the same place as before. Had some fights and recieved some really dirty hits that will get reported. Then I had Tobias Röhner behind me for a long time and we had a really nice and fair fight. Despite my tyres going off (and so did probably his) I managed to hold him off, finishing in 13th :)

Race two then. Got a ok start but then in all the mess in T1 I recieved a hit that made me loos some places. Then there were alot of people on the side of the track for the first laps and I gained all the way up to 7. There I was for a while... then BANG - I lost my force feedback, halfway through the race, but that was maybe good becuase I didn't feel how bad my grip was :D The guys infront of me either spun out or blew the engine which promoted me to 4th. But I had company from behind - Tobias Röhner again :) Fair and very nice again! I didn't let he pass this time either so I finished in 4th which made me very happy since I almost didn't make into the group :)

Tobias will probably have nightmares about me :drunk: It was really fun mate and hope to have it some more times :thumb:

See you next time and hopefully in a higher group :D

/Andreas

Results are released!

Hello,

Well, the first event is behind us. We hope you enjoyed it and look forward to the next encounter at Valencia.

We've got problems with the processing of the resultfiles and can thus not yet get the results into GPCOS. This means we can't deliver you the results right after the race like we usually do.

Our apologies for this inconvience. Of course we're on it and will try to get the leak up as soon as we can.

Thanks for your patience and good luck practising for Round 2.

I take back my entry....
If you feel bad Gio, make an incident report... but my opinion that it wasn't my fault is still the same watch the replay and see that I've been pushed by the left.

Greetz & all the best
Kevin

Yeah, interesting first race in the championship - for a moment there I was thinking a few people thought it was ghost cars like in pre-qually. Quite a few hits ( mainly by BMW's - guess they are slightly harder to handle than people think;) ).

Qualy was wierd - car handled like a fish out of water, flapping all over the place. Strange that it was the same setup that I used in pre-qually..............neverimind. I changed the rear suspension a little and then dropped my lap time by over a second to go into 7th place. Unfortunately by the time I did this there wasn't much time left to try some more fast laps.

Race1 was fun apart from the pile up on the grid. Had some great fights with Danny - amazing difference in speed down the back straight made me lose my braking points on quite a few laps ( sorry Danny :( ). End of race I finished in my start position of 7th.

Race 2 and oooh, 2nd on the grid. Crap start again and received quite a few hits but spent quite a few laps overtaking a few flying off the track. Lost count on how many times I saw the bind of "Sorry.............so sorry" - must have been a destruction derby at the back lol. Middle part of the race was a blur but I ended up having a good fight with Gary Lennon. Wasn't until the last lap that I got an opportunity to overtake and made the slightly "balllsy" move on the quadruple left hander. Ended the race in 4th.

All in all it was a good first night of racing but I think it was also an eye opener to a few of the new guys racing in these type of events. It's not as easy as it looks and sometimes you just have to slow down a bit to make a better overtake attemp rather than barge through.

quali was bad my wheel wanna strike again .... so 20 21 22 or something else

race1:In first have to say big sry against Robert,Roy,Frederic for my bumps.
Wasnt my goal to disturb your race sry :(

Very disapointed, i was expecting quite clean race in such kind of competition. I was spanked from every side of my car. 1rst race from 7th of the grid and after few corners i was in 2nd from the last, finished at 19th. Second race still same just slightly less worse than the 1rs leg. Racing like this, no meaning. This is suposed to have fun and everyone enjoy the fun of race. Racing crazily with no braking for what? We r not gaining any $$$ or trophy. Poor of David Cuthill, he was in pole position, then i saw him just few places in front of me, in 2nd race he was even behind me very far, i think his car was crashed badly.....

Hey, what a blast races, from where i saw it was very fair and clean around me. :)

Overall i think i will be 3rd, not sure yet, by finishing 3rd i Race 1 and 5th in Race 2.

Qualy: i should say only 4th with 2:02.7, was behind my today morning times with 3 tenths, but thats life. :)

Race 1: i was surprised that i could keep up at the start with the bimmers, however i got the start quite good. Lapped the first few laps at P4 behind Cristian, i felt i was faster a bit, we had some nice and clean battle almost the whole race, but i could not overtake him until around lap 8. At the end podium, P3 behind Greger and Dom, yeeehhaaa! :)

Race 2: as i was expecting it it was a hell of a close battle all the way, hats off to everybody who i had the pleasure to run side by side on the track, very close very fair racing i had all the way, thanks guys for it!
So, start at P6, again could keep up at the start with the bimmers form the Alien team Greger and Dom behind me. Still lap 1 for my bad luck Greger prooved that he has the shortest braking zones from the field, approaching T9 he was coming behind me, and with his shortest braking zone he clipped the back of my Chevy, which resulted me almost in a complete spin, the nose of the car was pointng backwards to the field, but somehow i could fetch the car together again to continue without leaving the track, it was a funny view. :) Greger buddy no worries, i saw that you made everything trying to avoid the temptating ass of my car, even by running completely off the track, you almost managed to miss me.... :)
So after this i was back at P11 from where i had a blast race to climb back at the end to P5. I even overtook Dom in race condition which made me feel very good honestly. :) :) :)
Greger was also coming from behind sweezing his way thorugh the field, i could not resist to let him lead me with his draft, again the braking zone, this time at T6... :)
We were already P4-5, catching up on the leaders, on the last lap we got to Peter and Kevin who were fighting for P2-3, Greger could manage to get ahead of them on the last lap, unfortunately i would have needed at least minimum one more lap to do the same, so at the end P5.

I was very pleased with the quality of racing, thx for the fun guys!

I've just finished the race, will cool off before posting my race report.

I'd just want to send a :sign0013: to Steve Emmons. I thought I gave you room in the last corner on the second to last lap, but as you lagged it was very difficult to keep "track" of you - you jumped all over the place...

I hope you understand.
:sign0152:
Kind regards,
Karl

Karl,

Thanks for the kind words. But, what can you say except "that's racing"?:)

Our little tangle-up was the least of my problems today and I enjoyed the dice while it lasted. The first time I passed you --- think it was the third to the last lap--- I overshot my braking point by just a little bit and you re-passed me on the inside. That was nicely done by the way. :thumb: On the second to the last lap about all you can you say is that it was close racing and sometimes things happen.

No worries. It's time to start thinking about Valencia. Looking foward to racing with you the next time.:)

Best Regards,
Steve

too tierd to make a decent report but qualy was great,i was actually on pole for almost the full qualy but got beaten by a few hundreds of a second in the end but kept 2nd
Start was not great as rev dropped abit too much but managed to keep the 2nd place into t1,kept the distance to 1st below 0.8 seconds for the first few laps then started to attack for 1st place...took 3 laps to get past a very defencive seat :) but into the last chicane he got a bit wide after the braking and i quickly took the inside line.Have a few dents in my rightside door from that overtake as he tried to comeback on me even if i was clearly past....well...i didnt spin so no harm.Got a gap of 1 sec that kept growing as 2nd and 3rd started to battle and my gap was 4.5 sec at finish i think.

2nd race started in 8th and it was a total disaster, got past by a few cars into t1 then in t2 another seat was on my outside and probably didnt see me on the inside so he turns in on me but he is so much infront that when we hit i touch his rear fender so he almost spin and i had to hit the brakes hard to save him....im down to 15th.
Hunt begin, pretty soon caught up with the pack. Some nice overtaking and some accidents infront of me took me all the way to 3rd with 2nd and 1st just infront.

1st and 3rd total was enough to get the overall win in G2 on the same points as the 2nd.
Great races,as i see it fair with pretty many accidents though.Guess that is what close racing brings.

Andy...for sure I could read your mind in the last lap of 2nd race. You were thinking : "I'm gonna hold my back till the very long part at the back of the track and swallow him up just before the chicane" haha...well done there Andy. Your Beemer seemed a bit loose, so I thought I could take advantage of that, but you mastered it well :thumb:

Cheers
