I can't get to the server. rF2 says:

Do you own only the Porsche or all cars? Not sure how it works with racing against unowned content, I assume you have to download the other cars as well somehow, couldn't figure out how cause I own all of them

You still need to install all the content for the server:

Click Content & Setting here (see light blue on top)

Then click Manage Content down left:

Then choose "Store Content" from the tabs on top. Sort the content in whatever way you want and install the cars you don't own :

That was a nice practice run, luckily I did put my swim trunks in the suitcase .
Love the real weather thingie.

Too bad the forecast is dry as a nun for Friday!
Makes it interesting for the real life weekend though, with a dry Friday and a wet Saturday!

It was. I changed the name of the server to the correct one, and I turned on track limits.
No technical changes, updates or anything to the server, track or cars.

If you are sure you have all content installed, sometimes this error is due to another mod. I had this issue and removing another mod it solved. Maybe you have another Sebring version installed or a mod who uses GTE or Oreca with different version

Look at your /rFactor2/Installed/Locations if you have different versions of Sebring or /rFactor2/installed/Vehicles if you have different versions of each car. You can also use ModMgr that is in /rFactor2/Bin64/ to look what components you have installed or Content Manager inside the game

How can i find out the wrong mod!

In addition to what @Mik said, if you use the ModMgr, or check for the mod in "content and settings - ,manage content - local content", the mod-file itself should be present but not installed, and it should give you information of what the issue is.

I say should, because it is rF2.

I'm interested in joining up but want to hold out to make sure I can rf2 working properly, got the lmp2 car and Sebring last night and when I eventually got it working it had no ffb lol hopefully I'll resolve problems tonight

That's a very common bug, I have this suddenly years ago with my TS-PC when enter the car. Best fix is set a key or button in Assign to "FFB reset"

Same bug here for a long time, TS300. I have a button to reset the FFB , works well.
