How many people would have to sign up before you considered adding a third "LMP1" category with the Vanwall?
Also I'm in with the LMP2 unless I'm allowed a P1 :D

Holy Smokes! Long time since I've done this now:

I was just gonna say that
Can we nit add the Vanwall

Or the DPi with full power :)

Vanwall is slower than the LMP2, so that is not a good idea I think.

I kinda do want to add the Vanwall some time. But have not tested it's speed in-game compared to the LMP2.

So DPi with Hypercar setting might be smarter if you think of a quicker cøass.

With regards to how many sign-ups, back when I did add three classes, with the ByKolles LMP1 - that was back when we were almost guaranteed to get 30 sign-ups or more. (IIRC I did it back when we had 1.5 teams that did a Virtual Endurance Championship, and I always did a club race at the track they would race on, a week before, so they could join us for some practice. It's easier to test stint-length in an actual race. That tended to boost the amount of drivers with 5-8)

It's better that we are 24 drivers in two classes than 24 split into three. Then we might end up with a class with just 5-6 drivers, and while that might be fine for one race, it doesn't make people want to return!

The Toyota we raced at Silverstone a few months ago is another good choice if we want LMP1s. They were epic!

That one was easy to drive, and quick. Just a bit afraid that it will be a bit too quick compared to GTE's when it comes to safe passing.
However, we did an LMP1 showdown at Bahrain last year with the Ginetta, Rebellion and BR Engineering. For me who likes variety, that's also something interesting.

Oreca LMP2 did a pole lap of 1.48.1 on Sebring 2017 that is a very similar lap time of this week in the WEC prologue from Toyota LMH, but Vanwall did 1.51 in these test days
