Northern Calif. Sim racers?

Hey guys, I'm a new guy around here... looks to be a great place to hang out!

I'm just wondering if there's any of you in the NorCal area (Preferrably in Bay Area) who are active in rFactor, GTR2, GTR-E, or any other good sims?? I can explain why I'm asking this once I find out if there's any around here.

I know of a couple Chris Vick being one... There are 3 Oregonians, I think 3~4 Californians and the vast majority is from the East coast.

I didn't really get a chance to give it a true visit. My wife and I went there in the afternoon by channel tunnel train, then stayed one night and came home the next day - we just didn't have much time to spend there.

I would like to go back someday for a proper visit though. Having lived in North America my whole life, I'm not used to all the old stuff, so that is a little off-putting for me, but it was very interesting. We went to Montmartre which was interesting and I love the cafes and relaxing ways. :>

I was very glad my wife's first language is French because she got me around easily. She's French-Canadian.

Technically I'm not American, but since I race with you guys regularly, I should tell you a bit about myself. I bet a few of the newer members are wondering "Who the heck is this Aussie?"

Anyway, I'm Rhys - I live in Perth, Western Australia. I have been actively simracing on RD since July 2008. In Simracing, I finally have a hobby that I enjoy and can have different things to do with all the time. I race with the US community on weekends and when I am on school holidays. Right now, I am due to compete in two events this week asnd the STCC on the weekend, so look out for me! :wink2:

There are a lot of leagues at RD at the moment. The US GT-Pro didnt get enough traction. Having a league with 5~10 drivers is pointless IMO.
