United States & Canada

Hello everyone. Just wanted to say hi and introduce myself. I am married, no kids and have been sim racing for about 4 years. I was born and raised in Toronto, Canada and now live in Santa Clarita, California, USA with my wife and 1 dog. We have no kids, and enjoy the freedom it provides us.

I work for a global company called EMC Corporation as a project mgr. The company started out selling high end storage arrays and now sells many different storage products and a lot of software. I really like my job and enjoy working for the company in sunny California.

I hope to see some of you on the track in the coming weeks as I find my way around and find the time to race some events. I put my picture up in the other thread so you'll know who you are passing on the track! :poke:

hi guy's

today was the second round of the CIZC and it was a good day for 2 of the NA community members that are in it. Keith Barrick took the win and i took third place :dance2: Grats Keith for your win :handshake:

Even tho I am extremely late on this, thanks yves for posting this.

I just found this now. thanks yves for all your hard work on the series.

Hey Jason:)V-WTCC?? How did u manage to make it all the way there? Tell us more?

Nothing special really. Qualified in the qual round, then raced the two races online and managed to be in the top 3 to get admission to the live event. I tried to get sponsorship for the race but could not, so decided to make it a mini vacation for my wife and I. I had never been to the UK before and always wanted to go anyway. So we went for about a week and a half, saw some of the UK, went to Paris in the channel tunnel and had a blast at the race all weekend.

I wish they had a North American version of this. I knew a handful of guys who were much faster than I was, but could not make the trip due to cost. If it were in the US somewhere, it would be much easier. Maybe there will be a local one in the US someday.

Jarrod,

The late eastern time during the week (especially tuesday) is a very good time slot for me. I love the online races with RD and I would be delighted if a league would start during this timeframe.

I'm fairly new to simracing and recently I have not had the time to do much racing or practicing, so the GT-Pro is an especially hard class for this situation, but count me in as definately interested.

Thanks.

Ian
