This is not a problem...Also Schotten I have Feldbergring, Clermont-Ferrand, Battenbergring, Deutchlandring and Schotten all in-game (in various stages of development). I think I have a slight problem with tracks that are built into the landscape

Modeling's looking really good GaryApparently having 4 independent electric motors requires a lot of cooling pipes and power cabling
If anyone has any tips for animating flexible wires, I'm all ears - I've got 5 per corner!
Not far off now, just a few more details to model, almost everything is already unwrapped just to need to organise the textures. Been given a provisional thumbs up for a public release which is cool

that looks insane! All that detail.. about the animated wires...does the car even move that much that it warrants animating those? Are you paid enough for this? It is possible but apparently really time consuming to set up in the KS Editor and is not saved in the Persistence file, so you should do it as the very last taskApparently having 4 independent electric motors requires a lot of cooling pipes and power cabling

that's how i did for the seven

Basically i applied the skin modifier to the brake cable, and i applied both screws as bones. No need of more null/dummy this way
prior to this, you need to make sure you put gizmo of the cable properly, and centered in 0,0,0
i edited the enveloppe very wide as you can see in the screenshots.
To try quicker what's best for enveloppe parameters, i animated some key frames of the steering, then as i was playing with the enveloppe shape, i was playing the timeline to see the result, faster than selecting the bones etc.

Mine was intended to be modeled quite low poly (only really visible parts and manifolds are higher poly) and I'm using it as a base for Uni projectsAlways room for one more! Especially as yours is probably completely different to drive, being RWD and with a proper engine. Could be fun on track together too!
Just use two dummy as bones and use this scriptThanks, I'll give it a go. Never messed with skin modifiers and bones before!
Edit*
Quick question regarding the bones, how are they linked to the body/suspension movement? Sorry if this is a really stupid question, maybe its clear when actually trying it.
Hi man ,Can anyone of you modelers give me some help
Im trying to do the underbody of the M3 but i dont know how detailed you guys do
Im asking for like some pics to have an idea of how to do this ...if i need to make the engine or "simulate it with a image"
this is atm
Hi man ,
currently its perfect , add the tailpipes and move on ,
leave it as is
